Eternal Sonata Group for whenever/in general?
I am obsessed with the game Eternal Sonata/Trusty Bell! And I've always wanted to cosplay a character from it. But, as I don't know anyone as of yet who is planning to or willing to cosplay an Eternal Sonata again, I don't know what charatcer. The majority of people cosplay Polka, she was my initial idea, I was also thinking perhaps Claves, March, Salsa or mmmayybbbbeee Beat.

I can't make any Eternal Sonata costume for London MCM May 2012, and I'll be inactive during the Summer holidays, convention wise, so perhaps towards the end of this year or next year?

So anyone that's interested in doing an Eternal Sonata group, please let me know >_<

For me it was a toss up between Claves and Princess Serenade. I know my other half would like to cosplay Allegretto, Chopin or Prince Crescendo. We'd be more than happy to join you. I'm currently begging him to let us do the Prince and Princess

We both have a gap for a costume for Ame, though that depends if you're going?

I don't think I'll be able to get to Amecon this year

okies, which events are you going to this year/next year? Princess S and Prince C both look very intensive on the detail so I dont mind when I do them for really

Well, I'm already cosplaying Merrill from Dragon Age 2 this May at the London MCM Expo. I think in October, I might be cosplaying Kasumi from Mass Effect, so perhaps next May expo, or maybe Fushicon? I'm not sure yet. ^_^

Hey there, I have already done a Claves costume, I can revamp her for next year and get her sorted if you want to make a group, would love to wear her or make Polka's costume, Eternal Sonata is very pretty game and needs more love

I've had my Allegretto cosplay in progress for over a year. I should probably get around to cosplaying it, and I know I would be more inclined to finish it for a group. So count me in for the moment!

I'm going to slash your pillow and tear out all the stuffing with a motorbike made of jelly.

Sounds like a plan guys! I think I might cosplay Polka maybe? Should we assign people to characters so we know who's who? -getting excited-

I may of just roped my friend into doing Fugue, if so I will possibly be attempting captain Dolce nstead of re-vamping Claves, so then you have some villians to fight xD

YES! WELL DONE! -glomps-

I'm having trouble deciding whether I should go for for the original orange dress or the alternative bluey-green one in the PS3 version?

Edit: I'm going for the Blue-Greeny dress now.

So far we have:

Polka (PS3 Alternate dress) : PhoebeHaiKarate
Princess Serenade and Prince Crescendo: Angel Tear & partner
Limegreenjelly: Captian Dolce
Limegreenjelly's friend: Fugue
Monkey: Allegretto

Yay! I'm more than happy to prepare for just about any con with enough warning. Since I'm the one sewing the costumes for myself and Insanityfish it's probably a good idea to let this one wait until the end of the year or beginning of the next. Just tell me what to aim for and I'll be there for it Good to see more people joining in - this is going to be epic!

Definitely! I agree! I'm rushing with my Merrill cosplay at the moment, and it's not a good feeling TT_TT

So con wise perhaps October, or like you said towards the end/start of new year. ^_^ This is going to awesome! Finally people who like Eternal Sonata! I've been looking everywheeerrreee

We've been planning a big group for some time - the majority of people in it have finished costumes, just waiting on a few others so we have a full set. I believe we can fill in all your remaining gaps between us. We have:

And hopefully Jazz.

I don't know about other peeps but I wouldn't be able or happy to take my costume to Expo, too many idiots around who might damage it and I tend to fly and do it on hand baggage so transportation is an issue. It's not a very natural setting for a photo shoot either. We're hoping to do the group for Ame but if not it'll be the next summer con.

P.S. I adore Polka's alternative costume and will look forward to seeing it when you make it!

I'll have to agree with you in some respects to the crowds at MCM - specifically London because it is so big and there are a lot of people. I've never had anybody mistreat my costume before and they've always asked before handling my props, but that's just about it really.

Since it is such a large group, I would definitely say that a good quality photoshoot is in order as it isn't so often that you manage to get near enough the whole cast in one place at one time, and I agree with you that there isn't really anywhere which is fitting location-wise near that particular event. I'd almost be tempted to pick a location for a photoshoot on a separate date depending upon where is easiest for people, though that can only happen if everyone has the funds for travel. We could make a push for July expo if enough people are going to that? Though I remember it being very crowded last year. I'm not sure if they're going to expand and use more of the space but it would tailor to us better in terms of finding places for photoshoots.

That being said, if people can make it for Ame then I wouldn't discourage them from meeting up with your group as a starting point. Needless to say you will probably want to rewear them again.

Just throwing a few ideas out there because it is rather uncertain of what we can manage at the moment. Hopefully we can arrange something and keep posting in here to keep it alive! Sometimes if a group is far away it can be forgotten - and I'd really hate that D:

So! I was wondering if anyone had any idea to go about making Princess Serenade's wig? I've had very little to do with wigs in the past and always found myself getting stressed out by them, so any tips or shoving me in the direction of someone who does know would be great! I want to do the best I can for the group

I really don't want to rush Polka, and since of lack of funds I don't think I will be able to do anything by this summer - I'll probably will be making Polka during that time. I checked the Amecon website and realised that you have to be 18+ to enter the con

London Expo can be very hectic but it's okay. Transportation is an issue >_> I live 40-60 mins away, but I have trouble getting there with my props and such.

I've been looking at cons near the end of this year, is J-Con any good? I turn 16 in early September, and that prevents me from going to Alcon and others like that. So maybe we should plan a separate day photoshoot in a desired location, then maybe attend a con late 2012-early 2013?

Sorry if this causes any inconveniences. ^_^

I've never been there before but it's actually more convenient for me to go to that one and try it out as it's closer than London is to me. It also gives me a good amount of time to sort out this costume. Has anyone else had experiences with this con?
