So, I've been searching on an easy way to make a necklace and haven't been able to find anything.
I was hoping someone here who had previously cosplayed Gary Oak had any tips/tutorials I could follow.

| Alex4Manga Joined: 01 Feb 2011 Posts: 107 | What I'm going to do for my Gary cosplay is cut out a small circle in a piece of paper, make a hole punch in the top, paint the paper according, laminate the necklace and then slot in a piece of cotton through the top.
It's quite a budget way of making it! |

| pltshp Joined: 22 Jan 2011 Posts: 225 | I bought myself a cheap pendant on eBay and painted it with acrylic paints, and then just got some black string. It's lasted over a year now with next to no wear, so it's a pretty damn durable way to do it but I'm afraid it does kind of depend on how kind eBay is with you as regards a base to paint on. I was lucky enough to find one just the right size, welp. |
