I would have posted this in the happy thread, but I want to know who else is going now that I've snagged my lovely tickets!

This is my second year and I couldn't miss it. We cosplayed last time as Serah and Snow, and we're looking forward to doing it again.

Anyone else? I actually feel like I'm about to implode from happiness!

We have no idea who to cosplay as though! A friend wants to do Qusitis' SeED uniform!

I got a ticket this time and I am really looking forward to it. It's just a shame that the meet and greet tickets were £135, I would have gone for those if they were cheaper.

Now, I am just trying to decide if I should make a Locke costume for this.

Quistis is such a pretty character! I'll try to spot it. I made a game of finding cosplayers from my seat last time, and they all looked so far away like tiny specks XD

I'm so torn between Garnet and Yuna. I have got until November so I could probably go ahead and make a duct-tape dummy to get a well fitted bodysuit.

That's great! The VIP tickets definitely went fast so I never dedicated myself to getting them. Hopefully you're happy with what you got?

Someone helpful posted this up if you want to find out exactly where your seats are. You have to squint a bit for details but it's better than not knowing. I tried for the Loggia's but they weren't specific about where the numbered boxes were.

Think I've settled on doing a Bartz Klauser (Dissidia) cosplay

missed it last year, def going this year. successfully persuaded a friend to come with me.

I've just broken out my Returning Home DVD to cover up the sound from upstairs banging around. It's just a shame we've all got such a long wait now that we have the tickets!

I am also going this time with my friend n cousin! I missed out last year and I sadfaced for ages! I nearly had a heart attack as the website kept rejecting my bank card, not good for the ticker.

I plan on cosplaying Amano Garnet if I dont kill myself at all the hand embroiydery... My friend has plans for Amano Terra and my cousins thinking of doing Rinoa! I'm so excited

Don't give up! Raid ebay if need be or lurk around here. Sometimes people find that circumstances change and they're unable to attend after all. One person got so desperate to get rid of it that on the evening they were giving it away for free to make sure the ticket wasn't wasted.

As its the 25th anniversary this year I think they may even have something special up their sleeves, so I'd definitely give it a go. It was certainly worth the wait.

Me and Harajuku-Guy are both going in cosplay - we should definitely organise a massive cosplay gathering, would totally be up for that, it would be so much fun! Are people going 'all-out', moderate or quite casual for the cosplay you're going to wear there? And would you be able to take acceptable-sized props or not?

I would say avoid big and fanciful costumes because you don't have a lot of room at all. The last thing that you'd want is for someone to wear something blocking your view or bulging out into you, so when considering cosplays please think of those around you.

For example Ashe's wedding dress wouldn't be favourable because of the height of the headdress, but Princess Garnet's dress may be more suitable because her head decoration is rather close to the head. On the other hand the skirt may poof out and become a pain for those sitting next to you so perhaps give it less volume for the sake of comfort and peace of mind.

It depends what kind of prop as well. If its a gun (say if you're Balthier) make sure you practice regular con rules and have the blaze tip. Make sure things can be secured to your person too. If we had a group meet up then of course props would be great for photos, but you dont want to freak anybody out, cause panic or worse, have the police involved. Inside everyone will know whats going on, but the staff may become suspicious or it may cause some worry to people outside the venue, so everyone should keep that in mind. As much as I would love to make one of Garnet's rods, I'll probably give it a miss because I remember not having a lot of leg space at all. There was literally nowhere to put it and I got lucky to have enough space for my bag.

Hope this helps anybody who hasn't been before and that its not an overkill, but if you have someone cosplaying with you just give them a quick reminder of behaviour as I'm sure everyone would love it if we could keep returning. Having all hopes dashed because of a minority behaving badly would really suck. I doubt anyone actually would, but it's better to be on the safe side, especially when we can all get excitable on the night!

Agreed with the big fanciful outfits because lets face it, we don't want to die on top of being Slain by the live orchestral menstrations of Arnie Roth

I managed to go last year, so really wanted to take my friend that couldn't make it last time. I didn't get a ticket in time. I'm determined not to give up though.
If I can do, my friends and I will be cosplaying Final Fantasy XIII.

I was lucky to get a ticket last year (a friend's friend dropped out and she offered me her ticket) and my ticket for this year has been sorted already yay!
