Just thought I'd make a thread here out of curiousity since it's roughly a week away from now! I'm really excited for this, and I simply can't wait! I just brought my tickets for Saturday and Sunday only (unfortunately I can't attend friday)

I'm coming as what's shown in my signature below XD If I had all three days I would have specially showed up as Jean Descole (Prof Layton) XD" But I guess that'll have to wait for May's Expo now ^^;


So, who's everyone coming as? And are there any of us on here entering the competions/contests held there?

I'm going, although only on Sunday as I need to work on my thesis. I shall be cosplaying Matador!Spain from Hetalia, although not entering any comps or anything.

I would have liked to see your Kotetsu, as I'm a big fan of Tiger and Bunny. But Kyouya is also cool .

Not going Friday because I have lectures til 5 and I am always dead on a Friday.

I stupidly signed myself up for the COSParade ages ago and thought I'd actually be motivated on making something. Sadly I no longer am, but I guess if I didn't enter a comp I would never get a costume finished!

I should be doing Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier on the Saturday and for Sunday I'm not sure. Original plan was Tokiya Ichinose from Uta no Prince-sama. However I am really lazy at the moment (not to mention have 3 assignments due Monday after HJ D: ) so he might have to be pushed back to Kita. So instead I may either rewear Star Date Sheryl Nome, Nana Osaki or Shirley Fenette from Code Geass. Or even Rolling Girl Miku from Vocaloid (if I have enough pink fabric scraps, I refuse to buy more cosplay stuff). So you may see me as any old character, or maybe just being me hahaha, but I hate not cosplaying to an event so I shall likely be someone! XD

You'd think a week before the event I would have at least sorted out who I'm going to be cosplaying as by now... I haven't changed one bit

Unfortunate my friend will be cosplaying Romano on the Saturday too ;w; but we'll be sure to look out for you Carmina

Ahh, I wanted to actually enter the COSparade possibly but I think entering online is close now? Or I had heard that you can sign on the day >.< Good luck to you Neko ^^

And yeah, there are around 12 spaces on the day I think?? I reckon the majority that wanted to enter would have entered by now as it wasn't like London Expo where the entries fill up within 2hrs, so I think you should be fine entering whenever on the day

Yeah i shall be there for three days, cosplaying ,well cross play in-fact as ''SEVEN from FFVIII in the Agito girl uniform on Friday , Saturday hoping to do ''Ataraxia Saber from Fate Stay Night ,providing my wig turns up in time, was trying to get to do third costume for Sunday in the form of ''Jacky from Virtua Fighter ,but it looks like it may be tight due to a injury due to training.

Won't be in any competitions due to the costumes being manufactured and not made by me, but then this my first time cosplaying ,so we'll see what the future holds.

Should be there Saturday Competing in WCS as Mitsurugi with AQuietRiot as Tira and then ECG on Sunday as Raijin With AQuietRiot as Seifer

I'm probably doing all three days though not all of Sunday.

I'm cosplaying Naoto from Persona 4 and I will be entering the Cosparade on Saturday with a friend who's cosplaying the protagonist. Yeah I'm kind of nervous about that.

I'm debating bringing another cosplay (either school Sayaka or Pao-Lin though I kept getting mistaken for Bruce Lee) though at this moment I am not sure.

I'm supposed to be working there Sat morning and all day Sunday so I'll be around, although not in cosplay.

((Unsure on attendance right now though, as I've just discovered my train fares have almost doubled! D8))

I'll be there on Sunday. Look out for Gohan from Dragonball Z. The hair should be hard to miss!

Have tickets for tomorrow for Hyper Japan, but can't go. Anyone interested in buying them off me? They are in an email so will be able to send them. Unfortunately one of our members are sick so are unable to go.
