Hello everybody! I'm thinking of doing my first cosplay this year, so it seemed like a good time to hit some forums.
Just wondering though, is it easy to make friends at cons? I'm really shy, and I don't have anybody to go with. Really wanna make more friends similar interests to me.
Anyways, my name is Rosalyn. I like keeping reasonably fit/working out, video games, anime, a little bit of gardening, art, plus all the usual bizz (music ect).
My favorite game is probablyyy Demon's Souls (change my mind every once in a while). Azumanga Daioh would be my favorite anime.
I hope we can be friends/get to know each other. :>

I've never been to expo so can't comment on that but the cons are cool. The bigger ones are basically 1000 people with at least 1 thing in common with you  Cosplay groups (where characters from the same series/game meet up for photos) are a great way to meet people as well.
People are pretty friendly at the cons and are happy to speak to random people about random stuff  so I'm certain if you're willing to give it a go and speak to people you'll make plenty of friends ^_^
