Yet another corset and crossplay Q
Hi yas everyone so...

Haven't never used any sorta compression shirts or corsets for crossplays (due to A/B sized boobs and chars wearing layers/long jackets). I find i am now faced with said problem due to newest costume, Girly Ciel from Kuroshitsuji. My questions are these;

1. Can either squish hips down abit(not so much bone as fat XD).have pref to corsets due too wanting to take epic
yaoi type pics of ciel and seb-chan

2. If there is what is it called and is there a centain type to get.

Any other tips for wearing said item would be very welcome ^^

You're looking for a corset yes?

Some longer styles may squish down your hips slightly, as long as its more a bit of extra fat. I'd advise against lacing too tight though, especially if you're not used to wearing a corset, as you will hurt yourself. Strictly speaking most you find are designed to emphasise the feminine figure. I suppose an alternative might be to use a basque and pad out your waist a bit?

Looking at the costume, I think a corset would be a more awkward option to go for. It looks like the bodice of the dress is connected to the front of the skirt part, so matching colours of a corset would be difficult, let alone keeping the skirt attached to the corset.

It would probably be more effective to wear slimming knickers if you were really worried about your hips (but I think it would be hidden by the skirt!). If you combine it with a good crossplay binder then you can get a more boyish figure. Then all you would have to do is sew the corset detailing onto the dress, so its all part of the dress rather- which should be more comfy!

Here is a good site for cosplay binders:

They were thoroughly reccomended to me!
