Not Scunthorpe, but I am in Yorkshire.

There's quite a few of us in Yorkshire area

There are a fair few of us just across the water in Hull, myself included. i know a few in the wider area as well... Selby, Goole, Barton and the like

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, ive made my own costumes for a few years now, but have semi retired and taken up organising my own events instead. Hence why we have started S-con a small convention held in Scunthorpe. Would be great if any of you guys could make it, or spread the word to those local to Scunthorpe. There isnt much in the area for us guys.

We used to hold the Recon events every year along with Tokyopop at the Centrel Library in scunthorpe.
However since we no longer have Tokyopop to support us, this year we decided to go it alone and make our own mini convention.
Its held at the same place, except we have gone 100 times bigger then the recon events. We have Genki gear, tuckysanime, space centre from sheffield and Twilight zone coming as traders.
We have Sonia Leong and Morag Lewis doing 2 workshops, Akemi Solloway doing a workshop and talk, Robert Deas and Yen Ip both local to our area (artists).
A lovely lady bringing her BJD collection.
Also we have cosplay comps, pokemon and yugioh tourney food and snacks and sooo much more i cant fit it all on.
