Eyebrow makeup?
Hey folks.

Just wondering if anyone could help with this.

Im looking for something that I can use to change the colour of my eyebrows to help match the hair colour of some of the wigs I have been/will be wearing.

Just I want to try and get closer to an acurrate image, so I dont want to have dark brown eyebrows when im wearing light coloured wigs.

Any reccomended items/kits would be really appreciated.

I just draw over my eyebrows with koal eyeliner. It goes on very well and stays put.
Plus it comes in a lot of colours.

If you're trying to turn dark eyebrows to white though, be aware you'll only really managed an off-white/grey colour.

But I suggest just using typical eye koal.

I've heard a good technique is to put Pva (washable!) glue over your eyebrows, then just paint acylic over the top. This means it washes off, because the acrylic isn't in contact with the hair, the washable glue is, and it's flexible so you can move. You can then colour match this to your wig exactly, or go a shade darker to make it more realistic

I've never had to try this though because my eyebrows are invisible blond, so good luck!

If you try using a bit of soap (bar, not liquid) - wet the end of the bar and rub it across your eyebrows - this should flatten them down a bit so you can't see individual hairs. Then you can put a bit of flesh coloured makeup on them (the same as your skin tone) to cover them, and start again with a pencil/paint in the colour you need.

Or you can put a strip of latex over them to cover them completely!

Thanks for the quick replies.

Probably wont have a chance to try the PVA glue & acrylic until after the next expo, but it sounds interesting to try out at least.

I can pick up some koal eyeliner though next shopping trip (On my way to bristol for the coming cosplay party)

I use Snazaroo make-up cakes for my eyebrows. Just wet them a little bit with a brush and then apply. I found it lasts all day. I use them to turn my nearly black eyebrows to white for my Sephiroth and Abel.

Ballet shoes and I shaved ours off in the Telford International Centre toilets for Midlands Expo!!! Not looked back! I've just given them another shave! But I hated my eyebrows anyways so it serves 2 purposes!
