Definately going I can't wait seeing as I had to miss out on Expo. I also begrudge the £50 a night student accomadation. I usually go to a lovely industrial/EBM/cyber festival in Bradford every August bank holiday, and we use the Bradford students halls of residence which costs us £80 for the whole weekend, plus there are double rooms available for £100 for the whole weekend, so this being pretty darn simular, I can't see why the huge leap in price tags!!

Anyways, money grumbles out of the way, Im really darn excited!! Not quite decided on my final list of cosplays but Im pretty sure Ill be Zidane Tribal from FF IX (seeing as my hair is blonde once again YESSSSSSSSSSS) and main character from Persona 3. Not sure on who else yet (Im yet to finish main character, and even START on Zidane, so Id better get cracking!!!!

Hunnnyyyyyy!!! Want to travel down together or perhaps be near to each other. Georgi mentioned me joining her and I wondered if your part of her group?

Of course Im part of Georgis group Im sure that will be dandy!! Get in touch with her Georginess and well certainly sort something out

Yay, Ayacon! Much love for this, as I went to Warwick University ♥

Accommodation:
You may find this PDF useful, it was for a conference held at the University last year. Lots of hotels and guest houses and prices and contact details.

The B&Bs on Park Road are right near the Railway station. I've stayed at the Acacia many times in the past, they're good ^^

This time though, I'm staying at one of the Britannia hotels - their prices start at only £29 per ROOM per night if you book through them directly and pay well in advance. There are two branches - one is in the city centre (Britannia Coventry - good for people who need public transport, bus, taxis etc.) and one outside of the city, but near the A45 for easy access to the university (Britannia Coventry Hill - good for car drivers, free parking). Don't expect luxury, but yeah.

£58 for a double room weekend break = WIN

<3 thank you! But I have some questions. Which of the cheaper hotels and B&B's are within easy walking distance to the con? And if my mum did drive from the hotel/B&B to the con and back, would we be able to park somewhere at the con/university for free? Sorry if it's been asked already.
