I'm definitely up for it, unless I get accepted onto JET and have already left the country by the time it happens...

What are the dates for Ayacon? I can't find too much information about it on internet =/. How it is, lol? I'm willing to travel if it's big enough (like I'm doing for London Expo.) >_<

I'm looking into possibly going to a US con in the summer next year so it'd depend on the dates but I'd defintiely be up for Ayacon!

ayacon is usually big according to people but the dates havn't been put up yet

12 Oct 2008 - 22:056865
I'd give it a little time (that is if Aya is happening at all). Still I'd go. I really want to get as many of my friends down there. The dates I think are usually in August (I think they took at least one year off for the guys at Ame).

I've been to previous Ayacons and it's well arranged too.

Oh...Manga's coming too if it happens. ^^/

Cool. Which one? I'm looking into going to AnimeExpo in LA next year. I have a few US friends who are going to it so they have offered to sort out my accomadation.

I would love to go to Ayacon 09 as well. Depending on when it runs.

I'm there! Though I may be going to Japan in August - but will probably come to Aya anyway and just not buy any merchandise XD I'm hanging out for their site to be up!

I'd definately go as it was the first con I went to, and it was set out really well, the cosplay was fantastic. Watching appleseed on a cinema screen was great to.

However they did charge a friend for two registrations as they claimed they didn't have her first one then cashed it when we sent another cheque...

i have never been to a con before so it would be my first

i wanna go be nice for a big con for once, I really wanna do more coplsya sinc ei had fun at the smaller chibicon. my friend wants to go on a trip in america so hope it doesn't coincide lol

I'll be coming to this, after enjoying my first con (Amecon) and hearing from my friend about how much she enjoyed the last ayacon. (She practically screamed for joy at the announcement during amecon)

Im just wondering when it will be.

Probably a similar date like Amecon.

Ah wicked, I'm looking at either Otakon or AnimeExpo too. I just wish the plane tickets were cheaper! DX

Same here. Just checked out to let my US friends know the cost and nearly cried. The AnimeExpo con itself is very cheap. Its the AnimeExpo I'm looking at as I know lots of peeps from the US who are going.

So far I've been able to find the cheapest at around £3-400 return but with some stupid stop overs. Same here, I know a few people going to each so it'll probably be whatever works out to be the cheapest. I need a Tardis!

Most cons charge in the region of £50 for a weekend registration, so I expect Aya won't deviate from that much.

Unfortunately, the fact that it's being held in mid-August means that I might not be able to go

Thats a bummer that you can't go.

I probarly can as my trip to AX is looking more and more doubtful.
