So, me and Rachel (Madamerei) have now decided on the location of our group performance; London MCM Expo, where we hope to enter the masquerade and perform "La Soldier" in our Sera Myu cosplays.
If you are planning on doing such cosplay for around that time or wish to join us, please feel free to!

So basically, this group isn't just going to do performances, but we'd like to do photoshoots, various gatherings outside conventions, etc. Thus the group will be a huge project.

Anyway, we are seeking currently both inner senshi and outer senshi (or a mix of either) to join our performance group this year.Since we are entering the MCM Masquerade, we are allowed up to 12 people on stage, but we hope it won't amount to this much as it will make dancing difficult with minimal space) the places taken are shown below:

Eternal Sailor Moon: Steffi (Me - Mameido)
Sailor Mercury: Open
Sailor Mars: Open
Sailor Jupiter: Open
Sailor Venus: Open
Super Sailor Chibi Moon (possibly): Open
Sailor Pluto: Rachel (Madamerei)
Sailor Neptune: Open
Sailor Uranus: Jaydenn.
Sailor Saturn: Maybe taken.

We will make a group on Deviantart and such as this group is not just limited to the Outer Senshi, we will expand our group to many characters; senshi and villains to attend various conventions and gatherings outside of conventions etc. But at the moment, we are just looking for a selected few to do a performance.

Rules:

(Yes, we have rules)

- You MUST be able to make your own cosplay at a good standard. It must be completed by October, if you have been given a spot (we may consider bought outfits, considering that MCM Expo allows bought costumes for the PERFORMANCE categories to encourage people to join that category - however, we do advise you make them as it'll prove more spectacular, just let us know beforehand if you are going to buy the cosplay).
- You MUST learn the La Soldier dance in advance, we will practice a couple times at the Expo itself, but don't rely on that (If you want to learn other dances, that's cool too!).
- You must be there on Saturday.
- Serious cosplayers only, we don't want to have to deal with people dropping out without good reason!
- Have fun, these rules may seem a bit... Out there, but it's also about fun!

I'll post links to any Youtube, Deviantart or possibly Facebook pages that provide more information, or if you simply don't want to join the group but are interested in viewing WIP, etc. That's also fine

Just scrolling through, and thought 'more Myu cosplayers!' then realised 'Duh, it's Steffi!' XD

Might want to make a couple of changes to the post:

-The Outer Senshi never get a Super upgrade in the musicals. If you look at this image from the very last musical, you can see the Outers still have their original sleeves from their first Myu appearances: http://www.seramyuantics.net/images/group-sksdk01.jpg
-Saturn might be taken, I'll have to ask Summer to double check, but put her as a maybe for now.
-Also, I wouldn't mind having Inner Senshi performing with us, but I guess it depends who actually wants to join ^^

I won't be able to join you guys as I rarely attend Expos now, but I'd like to wish you guys good luck. Having cosplayed from Sera Myu before myself and having performed some skits, it's always nice to see others cosplaying and performing from the musicals. It also gives me more hope that 'Chasin' After Myu' will be warmly recieved, ^_^

I hope you guys will upload videos and pics of your group afterwards, as I would love to see your results, ^_^

I thought we were only doing outers for the stage, since you can have up to 12 as a walk-on, but I'm sure it's less for a performance (I think it was up to 5 or 6?) But I put in the description, that if any inners would like to join performances off-stage during a photoshoot or gathering, they're more than welcome! Or if we are allowed more people on stage then I'll update ze list.



Thanks for the encouragement! The musical outfits are fabulous and need to be cosplayed more! I'll take your previous Myu cosplays as inspiration. We will definitely post images and videos. "Chasin' After Myu" were fantastic!

Aw thanks! That's why we've decided to try and help promote the Sailor Moon musicals, especially to newbie fans of Sailor Moon knowing the series due to the revival!
We;ll do future appearances, so if you want to join in the future, feel free to!

We'll definately be uploading pics and videos - we're hoping to have a photoshoot with Dead Melon Photography again, and Steffi's fiance has been assigned as our official cameraman for filming the performance XD

But we welcome the stalking of forums/YouTube/Tumblr etc. XD
There really isn't a lot of Myu cosplay, which is sad because the musicals are amazing, and should be cosplayed more!

I've already made it, just need to do a few sleeve and wig adjustments haha If I do go I'll let you know. If most of you are over 4"11 then at least my size will be right as I was the smallest in my last group despite our actual 12 year old being 5 years younger than me and taller than me haha

I'm sorry to say CrapRocketRed, that we're only looking for Sera Myu outfits for the performance, but you're more than welcome to join our gathering and photoshoot outside the performance.
If you're able to make a Myu outfit for October that would be fantastic, but the choice is up to you.
