So, maybe it's just my excitement showing (and I hope this is okay as a thread), but I thought it'd be nice to have a post of what cons people plan on going to in 2012 (both confirmed and possible) - I know we have the threads for specific groups at specific cons but nothing for general "where are you going?"

For me: I'm definitely doing Midlands Expo in February and Amecon in August, will almost definitely be doing London Expo in October (haven't booked anything yet but I'm looking to go) and possibly the May Expo as well but again I haven't planned that yet.

May Expo and Oct Expo probably, that's what I can afford I think ^_^

We've already got our hotel booked for May expo, and if my work allows it we'll be attending October too.

Kitacon and Amecon

Expo isn't a con, so thats not on my list lolimo

but i'm still attending that anyway haha XD

Well I'm almost certain I am going to Hyper Japan Spring, Minamicon and the London Expos. I'm considering Kitacon and Amecon (Kitacon at the moment is looking like a certainly. Dunno about Amecon yet but we'll see nearer the time). I'm also considering one day at the Birmingham MCM Expo though it depends on money.

Hyper Japan most definatetly, if thats considered in this list or an event. Cosplay plans might change frequently, as usual xD I'm going definately MCM London Expo May & October, as well as LFCC. But the one I'm looking forward to mostly is AmeCon with my friends, got an exciting list planned for then! Since I sadly won't be able to afford Kitacon by the time it comes around x.x

Definatly October Expo for me, hopefully May if I can afford it.

I'll be attending Minami and Ame, and I'll see about if I can afford KitaCon or not once I've got those 2 sorted out. And I'll most likely go to the Saturday and/or Sunday of both London Expos.

Midlands Expo, Kitacon and Manchester Expo are my only plans so far

Amecon, Kitacon, and Sunnycon are confirmed for me. Though whether I might wind up missing bits of Friday & Sunday evenings of Ame and Kita I don't know until work confirms my leave. Sunny being Saturday - Sunday anyway and 20 mins walk if that from my house doesn't present that problem but I am planning on doing an understated cosplay to that one because I don't want to wander around Sunderland City Centre in obvious cosplay.

On my maybe list is Auchinawa, and Nemacon. This all depends whether can afford them. I've been to both Nema's so I'd like to put in a show at least one one of the days of Nemacon 3. But I dunno if I can yet what with things that may or may not happen next year. Auchi is a favourite of mine because I love both Edinburgh and central Glasgow so whichever way they go I really, really, want to go.

Was thinking of going to Minamicon instead of Kita, but then I realised Kita is during my holidays and Minami is in the middle of term time so it'd be annoying having to arrive late and leave early for Minami ;A;

London Expos are a strong maybe. October one is more likely than May. I'd probably just travel back and forth, way cheaper than staying in a hotel and buying lunch/dinner!

Kitacon and Amecon are our only cons next year, trying to cut down so only going for the big ones lots of cosplay ideas though
