Hi everyone!
I am planning to cosplay Hong Kong at the Midlands expo and also Kitacon 2012 c:
I am planning on making it from scratch, but would like some help, perhaps from people who have made Chinese-style clothing before.
Firstly, for material I was thinking heavy cotton as opposed to anything 'shiny'. I think it looks a lot better, and I recall my old kung fu clothing made from that. Does that sound right?
For a pattern, I am hoping I can at least find something similar in a brochure somewhere in the fabric stores. If anyone already has the pattern, I would be very willing to buy, 'rent' or get a copy from you!
I really want to find a dark brown wig in his style, rather than going for black like a lot of cosplayers do. It seems more brown to me.
Lastly, does anybody know what the leg coverings are called? I can't remember this D:
Thanks so much!
