In all my many years of fabric shopping I'm not sure I've ever seen an argyle pattern, and even if you were to find one, the likelihood of it being the right colours, not to mention the right spacing, is hugely unlikely. You'll also really want it to be a stretch or knit fabric for a sweater, which narrows it down even more. Your best bet would probably be to make a base sweater and then paint or applique the argyle design on top. |

Unless you know someone with an ebroidery machine or live near an embroidery centre or know how to use a knitting machine with a pop card for an argyle pattern or how to hand knit a sweater from scratch or are a trained weaver...
