Looking for Lord of the rings cosplayers for the October Expo, especially a Gimli, So far the group consists of

the group has been planned this far in advance to allow time for preparing costumes and also gathering more people XD Please let me know if you are attending ANY of the days in a LotR cosplay XD

If I come I guess I'll bring Merry out again. That'll make it three octobers in a row. Hopefully he'll actually be complete by then. XD

Seems pretty early to be planning this but I really want to rewear my Pippin cosplay so if this does go ahead i'll wear him again. ^^

We'll have a Boromir too, apparently. Phil is buying a decent-looking trenchcoat someone's made for Boromir, and he's gonna work on the rest himself.

Hey maybe I will after my May Expo LOTR cos-play Dependant on the success of it as I do plan on a rather special costume for the second time I cos play LOTR. If you like you can join us in our search for cos-players as have a FB page dedicated to it. It is dated May expo 2012 but can be used for any LOTR cos-players tell me if you would like to join the FB page and I can send the link.

Sorry I havn't been here in a while but after being informed by my Legolas that we had a boost in popularity i came running back XD

The top post has now been updated to everyone who has responded and I have to say I am glad to see the popularity this has recieved as I have always thought that Lord of the Rings has been a rare sight at Expo but this should be a Great group and with the Hobbit arriving soon the popularity should only increase

So tempted by this. If you don't mind that the dress will probably be bought rather than made (because no way do I have the skills to be able to learn that before October) I'd be happy to attempt Arwen. I do have one commitment for October Expo so it depends on how the days fall but considering LotR is part of what got me going to cons in the first place (even if I haven't been to any in a while), this seems like it'd be fun to do.

Okay, think I can confirm now that I'll be aiming to do Arwen on the Sunday (doing a different group on the Saturday), if we're looking at arranging shoots etc.
