Hola!
Hi everybody! My name is Pixi. I’m 26 yo and I come from the darkest Peru. I’ve always liked anime. Some of the anime I remember I watched being a kiddo:

Candy Candy, Lupin III, Space Adventure Cobra, Robotech, Mazinger Z, Queen Emeraldas, Versailles no Bara (Lady Oscar), Maya the Bee, Marco (3000 Leagues in Search of Mother), Astroboy and a few others.

But it was only in UK (I’ve only been a little more than a year in Europe) that I saw for the first time cosplaying. It was at the last London Expo in May and I was more than happy :O and surprised. I didn’t know there was going to be people cosplaying >_<. I took tons of pictures. If you were there probably you heard my bad accent asking for pics. Cosplaying it's something hard to see in my home country =(

I’ve never cosplayed but I’m planning to do it for any event next year. So I’ll be browsing the forums to find any helpful tip or info n_n

Other things I enjoy besides anime is reading, especially Sci-Fi and Fantasy. I’m fan of Asimov >_<. I also enjoy walking randomly and getting lost in the city.

PD: sorry for my English =/ I speako espanolo

Oh, I would say it's the first 3 books of the foundation series. Prolly because it was the first thing I read from him >_<. But I also really like many of his short stories. They're awsome :O : Profession, Nightfall, etc. What about you?

i dunno really. i've collected the whole foundation series, as well as some of his short stories.

i think my faves have to be the short ones. he's so good at characterisation even in such small stories, it's amazing to read.

Yeah, and I also like how he portrays the future considering some of his work is about 50 years old.

And to Uni: :O nice to see you here. And let me say that you look scary >_< (I hope that's a compliment =/).

Hello! We're new here to!

You need to enlighten the people of Peru about this wondrous business we call cosplaying!

Hi there!

lol, yes, that would be uber cool. A few years ago I was in the biggest Anime club in Peru with monthly projections using a movie theater that was always full. But high speed internet killed the group.

One problem I think with the idea of cosplaying in Peru is that people there, are not used to dress "different" or with a distinct styles. Now I'm getting used, but I still sometimes get surprised with the different dressing styles here in Europe >_<. I guess my country is still too conservative =/ And many parents wouldn't allow it, lol. But who knows! Maybe in the near future :O
