Its been a long day today...

My German shepherd leapt over the rainbow fence at midday. She was 14.

*hugs* (or other platonic sympathies of your choice)

Sorry to hear that. Hope you're coping OK.

That's a beautiful euphemism though.

Ah, that's horrible feeling. I hope you're doing okay. Feel free to PM me if you need to talk, I've lost long time pets so know what it's like.

Right, I know I get upset on here about not having a BF, or whatever, BUT WHY DO I ATTRACT WEIRDOS?!?

Seriously, the start of this week, this guy decides to look at all my stuff and is kinda acting like a creepy stalker, finding my FB and no doubt other stuff, then messaging me about it on a different site, as well as stalking another girl from that site who he had been harassing and saying taht her and I should do some girl-on-girl. Also telling me that I'm his type. Him finding our images after that made me go "no, feck off you creepy feck"

THEN YESTERDAY I got a message on my myspace, which I've not used for FIVE YEARS, from a 55 year old guy asking to give me, and I quote ""Wow, i would love you to give me the longest spanking of all time." WTF?!

I deleted it, and today he sent me another fecking message ""Hi nixie. I see that you read my message. I should have added that you are beautiful. x" No. That's creepy, feck off. Deleted that too!

If we recall from the past, had a guy who tried to get into my pants the day I went out with him, the complete stranger who said "I've watched you walk home this way before, where do you live?" and the guy who I had to report to get him to leave me be at work.

...

In short; I attract the wrong guys. I don't know what the feck I do, but I'm really sick of this.

Also, this thread is almost to the size of the happy thread and it's been here for about a year and a half less time than that one.

I have a feeling that might be down to me in some ways.

Editing job I took on to help relieve someone else of the work who apparently had too much on, suddenly seems a bit impossible to complete due to filming error.

I'm hoping I can put the footage together despite the main camera being turned off mid performance, cause I don't wanna have to turn around and say it's a half filmed and edited show or no edit because of filming errors.

TL;DR - never take on other peoples work without an extremely good reason. Specially if you wasn't attached in anyway before this filming or producing.

Im so furious! Why does EVERYONE think that they're entitled to my stuff whenever the please without asking me? I can't even find half of my belongings because people just decide to take or move them, and then they're damaged by the time they get back to me again! I've even had to start moving my belongings out of the bathroom and hiding them because people are too cheap to get their own. And when I confront people they say 'okay, sorry, won't happen again' but it always does!!

Just seen the news that Skullgirls reached, and hugely surpassed their goal in their fundraiser for some DLC characters after their team were laid off.

Now, this should be good new, but the first thing I came across upon seeing this was a guy compairing it to Capcom for locking away content on disc and making people pay extra for it.
When I, and others have pointed out that he was mistaken, it went off on one calling us all fanboys, just because we knew what we were on about, before happily announcing he didn't need to see anymore if people were going to keep 'correcting' him.

Senior Management is making unrealistic demands again - increasing targets while reducing budgets and staff

And my girlfriend is away for another week, mostly without a phone/internet connection, and in another time zone

This sounds all to familiar!

Urgh, I still don't have a job... I'm bored of playing games, of being at home, of feeling worthless and a total failure of a human and it's affecting my relationship with my boyfriend...

People who seem to think that just because you can do something, doesn't make it wrong.

Been keeping an eye on the cosplay =/= consent article that was posted a couple of days ago. Despite all the talk about how some people try and take dodgy pics, (up the skirt, down the cleavage, ect) there are some people on there trying to defend this, saying its ok, because its in their human rights to take whatever picture they like, and there is not law in place to stop them taking pictures in public.

These sort of people don't seem to get simple things that just because there isn't a law stopping you from doing something, doesn't make it right.
There's no law to say I can only eat so much in a day, but I don't use this as an excuse to gorge myself until I burst. Buts then I use my brain...

Frustrating isn't it? So much entitlement and priviledge! There's only so much "but why?" I can stand before I give up in disgust. If they don't get that other people have feelings and rights too, it can be like talking to a very stupid petulant wall

Fight the good fight brother! If we can't educate them, we can try to outlive them!

Feels sad to say, but I'm almost glad I don't live in the US, as unfortunately that seems to be where a lot of the people arguing against this thing seem to be coming from...

Wont stop me from making it to the San Diego Comic-Con some day, but I'll certainly be more wary of what's going on, and be sure to be even more courteous than normal when asking people for pictures!

Really missing social contact right now. Work colleages don't count - I need to be around people I can relax and let my guard down with.

Only been unhappy since I got home from the convention this Monday.

My conflu couldnt decide whether it wants to get better or worse (just want to get it out the way), been bored to the max with nothing much to do and also been quite tired. With no money I cant do much cosplay related stuff.

Everything is sorta bothering me right now ><

Ugh! The post-con blues. You have my sympathies. Everything seems so dull and ordinary after a big geek-a-thon

Sat in an office surrounded by mountains of pointless paperwork that has to be stored for the next four years, on the off-chance something needs doublechecking.

Sometimes I wonder what the point is...

One day the other shoe will drop and I'll understand the cosmic joke surrounding the last 3 years of my life.

Had that myself. Work has dragged on this week and because its the school half-term there have been no students or teachers, so its been me and 4 others, and there's only one I even get on with...

Need to get out with some friends soon!

I get this, I just want to go out and have a good time, I live way too far from my friends, living in north west London and my real friends I can't even get to. Most living in Wales, Belgium and other locations far away.

Work being 40 hours a week give me good money but not people to know and relate to stuff I know

But on bright side though it gives me something to look forward to.

I can relate to that, I only know a handful of people in my own area, all my friends in the con-community live far away from me. With a mix of people in Bristol, Cardiff and Manchester, its a pain to see them on a regular basis
(There is a benefit that as I'm in Birmingham, I at least have a direct train-line to everyone)

That's the only good thing regarding to where you live at the moment xD

Direct train which is cheaper in a way but still, just wish you could just round them up, but even then that's bad cause trying to make time for everyone isn't easy. I do that at expos but not really into doing that anymore. The convention despite being more expensive it means it's easier to see people In a way. I'm grateful to have this job so I can afford the travel and the expenses.
