I've been told today to take any job I'm offered!
That would be great, if anyone offered me a job, but they're not!
I'm not exactly turning down jobs here, I don't enjoy living off less than £30 a week after all my bills have gone out! I work my arse off looking for a job!
Oh man, I feel your pain. I found it hard enough when I was out of work, it was only because I had a friend where I work now that I got my job, really!

Doesn't help as well that, bear in mind it shouldn't be too long now before I'm gonna be either teaching or training every afternoon/evening on a week day, not a lot of places want someone with my availability!
Anyway, keep pressing on, I actually found (dunno if you do this already) that with internet job searches, it's often a good idea to go to the big companies directly (Waitrose, Debenhams, WH Smiths...) directly on their own website, because a lot of them don't advertise on the agency websites.
If nothing else it all comes down to being persistent, keeping your name out there and making sure your CV is all up to scratch and looking amazing! I'm sure something will come your way soon.
