Charlie Simpson (Fightstar, Busted) is playing a gig near me next week, but its on a work night.

Then the night before I travel to london, Craig Campbell (Canadian comedian) is also playing a gig near me.
Why does it have to be so close to the expo weekend?

My aunt has the most horrible poisonous woman as a mother-in-law. Seriously, I've met some vile people but no-one has been as near as bad as her!

So I thought I'd start a rant here - I ordered my Black Rock Shooter outfit over a month ago. It finally got here this week only to include the jacket when in reality it should of came with the top and the shorts.
So I contacted the seller.... and she's like but I gave you a 15% discount so you could buy it with just the jacket and I was like ... nup, I told you to take the off (which took her a week) so I could have the full outfit.

I see how she's made the mistake but surely it's still her mistake!?

Now she's offering me a $15 (£9) refund or I need to pay another shipping charge to get the rest of my outfit (which I should already have)

Fact being - if I take the refund - Nine pound is not going to buy me the missing parts. And I've already paid shipping once, I don't want to pay it again

..... and in further news, I've been out since half 8 this morning running around mad all day. Got in an hour ago, gave my son a bath, read him a story, put him to bed and thought "I can't wait to get a relaxing bath with my favourite bath salts and bubble bath"

But no.... now there's no hot water and I'm needing to top it up with the kettle because I refuse to wait another two hours til the water heats up again.

Oh yeah, to add to that.... playstation access is tonight which I should be there but no babysitter. Going on Saturday right enough but theres this really annoying guy who quiet frankly only wanted me and my other half to go tonight so my man would drive him, invited other people (that had a car) just so he didn't need to take the train. Now he's on facebook acting as if he's a Mr Cool when really..... it takes every muscle in my body not to hit him (yes, that last paragraph was extremely immature but we are all aloud or moments.... oh and a hot bath)

My only rant today is very small, and that's because I got up earlier than I needed to. Normally I sign on today at Jobcentre (I know, don't get me started.) at 9. So I got up at 8 had a shower and then realised today was an exception and I don't need to go in until 10 to 11.

Also, I'm really hoping my Freddy mask turns up soon...

Woke up today and yesterday with my throat feeling like it's on fire. Finding it difficult to talk so Luke thinks I'm mad at him but I'm not >< I hate being ill, and I really really hope this doesn't develop into something worse...

If she charged the full amount, then say you're not happy with the action she wants to take. Tell her it's not acceptable because you clearly stated what you wanted and that your more than happy to contact ebay itself about it. You've paid for the full outfit so she needs to come up with the goods.

Not really a rant but I'm annoyed about it, writing a fusion menu is so hard without a good enough repertoire of recipes and a extensive palate to know what flavours go with what and texture etc and if I want my menu to go somewhere with the Nestle contest (which it won't its just desserts X3) I need to think fast XP
Also I wish I'd taken my knives home from college I want to cook something because I've only made pasta this week! I can't become a pastry chef of love with that!

I spent 2 weeks trying VERY HARD not to smile.

You see, I punched myself in the face when I was pulling a wallfix thing out, and I pulled a chunk of the wall out with it, and cracked myself in the lip. It swelled up and split. The swelling subsided, and its been healing very very slowly.

Hence why I haven't been smiling, so it doesn't open up again.

yeah, I'm trying to poke mum into helping, but Strictly is on so... Yeah... Not working.

Socks (the cat) appears to be under the weather. He usually meows loudly at us, and rub against our legs and bring in micey and purrs and roll on his back in a cute manner and bring in birdies but he's just lying there with his nose tucked in, doing nothing. He doesn't even purr when I stroke him and just totally ignores me. And he's been doing it all day and he's not eating.

And he didn't get into a bag when we came home from shopping and emptied the bags. This is unheard of from him.

So cha, I'm worried.

Keep an eye on him, and if he's still under the weather in a day or two take him to the vets and get checked out, just make sure he's eating a drinking, thats the most important thing!

I'm sure he'll be fine!

We're gonna be taking him to the vets; he's now wobbly and very very lethargic and his breathing is heavy. Wasn't too long ago that we lost Timmy, so I'm really worried.

And he's just yowled in a worrying manner so yeah...

But we've phone the emergency vet, and she's said to keep an eye on him and to call her if anything changes.

And he's also just eaten something. Which is something.

@ Nixie: I really hope your cat gets better! I had to leave one of my cats at the vets for a few days before and I couldn't stop worrying about him, so I know what it's like.

Sometimes cats do just go through a rough patch, at least you've done the right thing and booked them in. When I left Jack at the vet they were really good and took care of him very well, so hopefully once they're in you should have nothing to worry about.

ARGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!! The Embroidery on the two sides of my jacket don't look similar enough :sob: I know for definite that I have to undo the stitching from the last hour, maybe two and go over some of the other details. :bangs head:

he's not breathing properly now... We're worried cause he's acting how one of our previous cats acted before he had to be put down - in that case, some dick kicked him and it killed a really important muscle... And he won't be getting a hug since it appears to be an issue with his lungs... he'll get a massive one when he's better...

Also, my sister and brother-in-law just had to give up their pet huskies, cause their job doesn't really allow them to look after them...

@j_mercuryuk: It really sucks when something like that happens... Worse thing is when you think it's done, then you lift it up and realise you've sewn one panel in the wrong way, or something equally annoying, which means you have to unstitch loads of it.

EDIT: He had to be put down. Ruptured diaphragm, poisoning or a foreign body - the foreign body may have been treatable through operation, but it was the least likely and cause he was in a bad state it would be really dangerous to put him under anyway.

Poor thing. It's so horrible when animals have to be put down, even if it is the kindest thing to do.

Nixie, I'm so sorry to hear that. Just try and remember he's in a better place now, and you did the right thing. I'm sure if he knew he would be happy you eased his suffering.
