Hey there peoples

I've been listening to some songs lately and thought that, because of the theme of them that they would be good for people like us.

I'd quite like to do a video with photos and videos from other cosplayers about what we go through, our dedication etc to our profession.

I quite like the tune for this song and it can be quite dramatic, I know the lyrics may not seem as relevant to our experiences too much but I know some people have had extreme cases of bullying because of cosplay which could be applied.

The majority of non cosplayers tend to condemn us (In theory) because we wear "funny clothes" etc.


What I'm basically asking is, if people are interested, for your ideas, photos videos and general experiences which i can put into images about your experiences with cosplay. This is mainly about how we're not "Brain Damaged weirdo's" even though we get treated like it and how much fun we have doing this and how much Shit we get due to it. Also to show we're normal etc. Just your casual bullying video but with a twist.

I'll put as many pictures/videos in the videos as possible and it's up to you how you do it. Feel free to post your ideas for what can go with what lyrics or solo etc

Videos/Photos can include: Real life experiences with bullying (I've once found a video of myself being thrown into a bush by bullies before), being with friends, making cosplay, wearing it, being up late maknig it (A must, this is to show our dedication) (For that just make the room darkish with a light on and change the clock time XD), at a con, etc

This sounds really interesting, and the fact that i havent heard of this bullying idea for a video for cosplay. I'm really interested, so count me in! I could possible get some footage of me and my friends as if someone was bullying a cosplayer, that sound good? Obviously not real, just scripted?

Yeah, i dont wanna put anyone in danger. Let me know when you can get it in, theres a dramatic bit on Overcome which we could use for the bullying bit. The ending part of the drama bit I'm using for a reconstruction of what happened when i was in my gothic sports cosplay (I had a bottle of lucozade poured on me).

I havent been bullied, i've had names called at me but the names dont bother me. Nobody will be in danger obviously. I'll get my friends to act as the bullies if you get me. Could film it at a cosplay meet up probably, not sure when it'll be whenever the next half term is for me.
