The title pretty says it i'm not allowed to go to London Mcm expo anymore cause my parents hate it and won't let me go alone so if anyone has see the loop in that hole or i'm gunna be sealed tight in my house in assignments possibly have a breakdown. I live in Andover so please give a reply.

Try and explain to them what the expo is about, why you are going and maybe show some online videos of the event... Although don't show any with the slightly more dodgy aspects of expo xD

If that approach fails just say you have already booked a hotel and you will let other people down if you don't go and it is non-refundable. Sure, lying isn't right but your parents over reacting over something they don't know about isn't right either.

Oh and if you take the train into London from Andover you can normally find people at Waterloo who will be going to expo so you won't really be going alone. That's my take on it anyway.

Expo is shit anyway.

They know what it is about but you see I have Autism and they won't let go alone. May 2011 was my last cosplaying 2D I hope by next year 2012 after minami con (praise if i do go) someone will take me with them with me as Bakura...hopefully

Explain that while they can guide you and make suggestions, you are legally an adult, and by law, they cannot stop you from going (provided you are paying for it all).

See if one of them can come to yours the night before or something, and then travel up the next day together.

You can always do what the "Kill your Family Show" taught you; having a reasonable discussion with your loved ones.

I never get my way larry when it comes to these fings...it quiet harsh it saddens my heart I just want to go with my mates without taking my parents cause they are the problem.

I understand that you probably want to stay on good terms with your parents, however you are more than old enough to make your own decision.

I know most of you guys are saying that the OP is old enough to make thier own descions, which he is, the OP has mentioned that they have Autism, and is probally one of the reason the parents don't want them to go to a really big Convention/event as they are scared somthing might happen.

Speaking from experience as i have a brother that has Autism and came to Expo with me a few years ago.

To the OP, have you discussed with your parents why they don't want you to go? you should, and maybe talk to them and reason that you should be able to, and that you should have your friends with you so you will be with someone at the event.
You can even say that you can ring them during Expo so they can check up on whats happening.
Why don't you ask them if one of your parents can come along with you? they don't have to tag along every minute, but maybe sit aroun at the Cafe, so alteast they will be around if anything goes wrong.
