It was a mountain to climb in the end to get my two costumes and props finished in time. Galaxia wasn't even wearable let alone finished, except for the sword (!) Why am I so slow? T-T You guys looked Ab Fab on Sunday though. I'm pleased to say the walk on didn't look like anything was missing. Even though I was feeling like "I should be up there". Hopefully I have some good photo's of you all in my camera. |

You're too kind, but I don't deserve to feel good for a while... baaaad Ranma *sniff* I shall load my pics onto pc and sort out the good ones. I think the pre masq shots will be clear but a lot of the masq ones will be blurry cuz the stage lighting was really difficult for our digi camera's - everyone was complaing the same thing. From the audience seating there were certain sweet spots on stage where the stage lighting hit the cosplayer but there were lots of dark areas - the camera's were really struggling, even Silvers mega amazing profesh one. Mind you Nert is so good he prolly has it sussed and will have the best pics. I'll see how mine came out... |

I'd been planning to even after spending most of Friday bedridden but then was married to a bathroom from Saturday evening until about 4am on the Sunday morning...i suspect a dose of food poisoning - I thought a swaying, queasy and bleary eyed dopey senshi would not be a good plan (spent a lot of time sleeping once back in York) I've since seen some of Nert's photos of what you guys did skitwise ( http://www.manylemons.co.uk/gallery/nertcam/LondonExpo/oct09/sun/?g2_page=12 about halfway down) and i'm glad to see even with so many of us dropping like flies it didn't ruin everything in the end! For a last minute idea the timing's really good. Ironic that we got James to shorten the intro and then the music took forever to start >.< |
