Ok, so my mum is going with me to J-Culture con.
And i'm making my Guilty Gear Prop (may's anchor)
She turned around and said "I'd love to dress up, but i don't know what."
I offered her Sophie from Howls moving castle. She said no, i don't have a white wig and i don't have a blue dress haha.

So does anyone have any suggestion to who she can cosplay as?
She's in her 50's but looks like she's in her early 40's haha.
Has Long dark brown hair just past her shoulders.
Anything with a Simple outfit is good.

Anyone want to make her day?

Your mum is awesome for taking an interest in your hobbies. My parents don't give a shit what I do, although I am 21, but they've never been interested in what I do since birth. xD

Anyways, she could probably do something Marvel, as that's been going around for years, or one of the older anime's.

I would suggest she cosplays something she'd most likely have an interest in, so if she likes cute, get her to watch some cute anime. If she likes gore, then gore it is. Same for all genre's.

Glad to see as my mother cosplays too...does she have a favourite character or style? For example my mother loves TinkerBell so that would be a good choice for her...so it depends on what she would like to do

My mum has dressed up as green witch form Hocus Pocus before. Depends if she still has the clothes for it. She's been Morticia from Addams Family as well. oohh the decisions. the convention is next saturday, and she's working on mine while i create the prop. So she needs something that you could just throw together easily. Or normal clothes. If not, not to worry!

Does she still have her Morticia outfit? I think that would look really good! If not, perhaps look at victims from cult horror movies and have fun with the fake blood?

mhmm! She loves the whole culture and she loves it when i'm making props. And she helps me make the costumes as well like sewing them while i'm busy with the props! She's disabled, (she can walk but not much) and she's always wanted to do this with me, so i invited her along to a convention. She even said she'd loved to go to Expo! but with all the walking she couldn't possibly haha!

Ah, i'm not sure as it was awhile ago.
because my whole family dressed up as the Addams Family one halloween. I was cousin It hahahaha! Must find the pictures!
