Just wondered if anyone else on here partakes in this fine hobbies? See how many cosplayers are into airsoft too.

Hah I am a massive gamer but .. something about running around in full kit shooting other people and playing hard core to the bone is super exhilarating and .. you know being able to do all that and it isn't real so you don't die is a bonus!

Yeah, I would love to do Airsoft and paintballing and stuff, it's just I live in a crap area where apparently no-one knows the meaning of "fun" unless you're into bingo.

I've played airsoft a couple of times, but I prefer paintballing personally. Something about getting a mouthful of paint smack in the chops is just...so good..

You know I'm always up for airsofting, had such a blast in May ^^ would really like to do it more, just a shame it's such an expensive hobby think it cost me more to airsofting for that one day than it did for me to go to Ayacon XD

but it was awesome doing it in Cosplay 8D

I did a bit of airsofting once with a bunch of friends in a place where there hills, lots of trees, ditches and wrecked cars are dumped. It was all great fun. Until my friend shot me for no reason in the back at point blank range with a rifle. Stung for like.. 5 mins XD

I'm willing to do some more again one day. Just need to get myself some arms. Currently poor to afford any.

in the last year I have only had 2 airsoft moments that I have been some what stopped by pain ..

Being shot in the ear ... like just into the main part of the ear .. I can not describe how painful that is ... genuinely worst place to be shot actually walked away and sat down for a few mins.

Heroic charge expecting only a few to be through a door .. was actually about 12 got behind a piece of cover and then thought I have to run back before some one jumps out behind me and hoses me. Must of been lit up by at least 7 of the guys as I ran, got to other side of the area and just came to a gentle stop because the pain was so intense I just needed to stop. All of the shots were within 5 - 10 metres .. stung like a bugger.

If anyone wants to come along at any time I regularly attend perhaps one of the best CQB venues in the UK called The Mall (literally a disused mall that is rented out) in Reading. Would be cool to bring some more cosplayers into it.
