Just because I feel weird that I can't respond when someone comments on a cosplay without having to send them a personal message... I get this vague ache of guilt in my chest when I can't thank someone.

I totally agree with you. I really want o reply to all the nice people who actually took time to comment on my costumes, don't think it will hurt to just give them a little thank you

I also agree. If you want to say thanks or reply to a question, it feels strange sending them a personal message.

i am in support of this. ive often wanted to thank people for comments, but didnt want to actually post a comment myself, that they probably wouldnt see, and that raises my comment count and makes me look bigheaded or something. ive always just left alone.

agree with all o this too! often if people aren't watching you, they'll never even know if you replied which is sad

I agree that this is a good idea. It works really well on Deviant Art as it means you can keep track of individual converastions within one work of art (in this case per costume)
