I used to spend literally ALL DAY sat in random places in my house playing Pokémon. Sat on the stairs, on the floor in the kitchen, in the washing basket... I'd get bored, relocate, sit there for about 2 hours and move again. If I went to the loo, I had a post-it I'd put on my Gameboy warning anyone who dared to touch it whilst I was gone. I miss that, but then again when I got Pokémon White and was living at uni, I glued myself to it to the point where it was accompanying me to the kitchen to get food. So in retrospect, not that much has changed.

I certainly don't play consoles as much as I used to. I used to sit for days playing Sonic games on the Megadrive, or Tekken/Street Fighter, and I had the absolute best park on Theme Park. Now, I just pick up games when I'm bored and want to kill people. I love me some Saints Row and Assassin's Creed. Mind you, I played GTA as a kid as well, haha.

I didn't miss playing these games until recently, I played them allll the time up until my N64 died about a month ago! My baby ;___;
Definately craving to play Kirby 64, Mario Kart, Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Snap right now. And Ocarina of Time, which I only started recently but used to watch people play all the time...such good times!

Haaa, about completing games.....took ages. I didn't 100% complete Kirby 64 until I was 15 and I first got the game at 8 xP Think the first game I beat was Pokemon Crystal =D

Tomb raider was awesome! I really want to get hold of TR2 at some point . A friend kindly gave me chronicles though i have no memories of playing that. Also anyone collect the net yaroze demo disks?

The first game I ever completed by myself without help was Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. This game will always have a strong nostalgia and fondness attached to it for me

Aw man I loved the Oracle games so much <3
I still play them now.

There are quite a few zelda games i have never played i'd do anything to get my hands on them

27 Aug 2011 - 17:2267851
It's terrible, the only Zelda game I have ever played is the original for the NES. I was always a SEGA kid so I never bothered myself with Zelda.

27 Aug 2011 - 17:3367852
I'm somehow managing to work my way through the ones I couldn't get hold of before.

Ah, I love Zelda games! Not hard to guess that though ahah

Yep, I still have my Official Playstation magazine demo disks at mum and dads house. We actually programmed the Net Yaroze at Uni as well. I made this GTA view racing game, it was awesome! (if I do say so myself)

Hell yes! I still have some in my house! Not all of them, but a fair few.

I miss the days of getting demo discs with gaming magazines... Demos are all just downloadable from Xbox LIVE or PSN nowadays.

So many epic games, like I remember the demo for the original Grand Theft Auto, awesome stuff!

On a related note I saw Cool Boarders in CeX the other day. Also an epic game. XD

Alex the kid!! Hah, I used to play that with my sister on Sega Mega Drive I think, listening to Bewitched and The Corrs. I loved Mario Kartz, Mario Party and Yoshi Stories too and of course the many Pokemon games

@ Mycroftwave: Doh! I thought I might have missed some! Yes, Tomb Raider does rightfully have a place in my list as well. Derping around in Lara's mansion, shooting the butler or locking him in the freezer was reason enough to play the game.

Did you know you could get the quad bike out of the course? Used to drive it out the front gates.

That would be Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. I love that game, still have it somewhere, as well as the OST. The music was just fantastic.

A load of N64 games, namely Zelda OoT, Mario64, Mario Kart 64, Blast Corps and Pokemon Snap are what I remember from my early childhood, but by the time I was 10 I'd delved into some NES and SNES titles like SMB 1, 2 and 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, Metroid and the original Zelda - Always been loyal to Ninty, never really payed mind to the other consoles.

Oh and I used to spend ages on my GB Color, whenever we went in the car anywhere
