Just to confuse Rawrr with even more con names, there's also Auchinawa in December (its not running this year but I believe its back in 2012?)

I've not been but I've heard good things. Its one con I'd really like to attend because it could also double up as an excuse to visit Scotland. Has anyone here been? What did you think?

There's a lot of Controversy over Alcon, and saying you're going to it gives you a 75% chance of being labelled as an AnimeLeager. I'm not sure about you guys, but that's something I don't want to be, as I get the feeling it's a hidden shame to be associatted with AL.

From what I know of AL, this is pretty in line.

I know ALcon attracts a lot of people, but I don't know anyone personally going to it. Either this means that I actually don't know anyone there, or those that are going don't want anyone outside of ALcon knowing that they're going. Says a lot doesn't it?

I've never actually been to Alcon, or really paid much attention to it before. It was just another con. What's so bad about it.

An excuse to visit Scotland is as good excuse as any xD I'll look that up, as I have a friend in Scotland and that could totally double up.

I can't believe I never stumbled over Anime League before. I don't understand it all either, so are they just all up themselves or something like that?
