I like a nice cuppa of coffee or tea, with sugar and milk, mmmm.

But since I'm trying to lose weight, I've replaced it with green tea and honey teabags. Not as yummy, but it's good for me LOL

I think this thread may have just made up for the fact I was drowned on the way to work this morning.

It's been said by a friend of mine that I function on little more than tea and air. Not entirely true, but still amusing. Usually I drink Earl Grey - very strong with no sugar, occassionally no milk either - but I was also well known in our shared house at uni for various fruit and flower teas for insomnia, colds and stomach pain, pretty much all of which I learnt from my grandfather. I currently also have some very nice Caribbean fruit teas my brother brought back from holiday and tried an interesting Earl Grey and vanilla a while ago.

Not so fond of coffee, but I will drink it if I don't have the heart to tell someone after they've made it without asking me first.

I like how tea brings us together, and I'm happy I made this thread.

For those of you in the nottingham area, there's a tea shop that sells a massive range of loose tea and it's got a sit-in area too. The cakes there are bloody awesome.

I got into fruit/red bush tea there, and I'm into two of their types called "Pure Energy" and "Serengeti fire". Yes, you should know me well by now. I think there's some turnip in one of them.

The thing with fruit teas is they do smell great. The teapigs range of flavours are a good example, I like the lemongrass one, if you like tea get into teapigs. However they don't taste exactly how they smell, you'll be subject to something not as sweet as you might think.

I'm the kind of person who does like rich intense flavours, and I can handle delicate flavours too without sugar. I like dark chocolate, scotch, dark rum, red wine, dark ales and stouts etc, and I think the taste for bitter/rich things develops as you get older. I don't like sickly sweet or tangy things.

I do like green tea, but I don't drink it often.

I should also mention I really like Ginseng tea! Even though its strictly not a "tea" and too much will kill you (ahahaha, it's true) it's good for lighting a fire in your head if you need a bit of mental ignition when you don't want caffiene.

I was raised believing that fruit and herbal teas were tea, and that there was no other kind.

I love really sweet tea and heartily refuse to drink any red coloured teas unless they contain rose or lavender.

Four teaspoons of sugar in tea is vital(maybe three) and I don't take out the teabag either!

I'm curious as to whether that makes anyone cringe. ^.^

Also, I really like coffee, but no milk in it. Milk in hot watery stuff creeps me out. Really bitter coffee with lots of sugar is the best.

I enjoy killing my tastebuds?

---
I haven't had any tea or coffee in a while 'cause it's rather hot(being, as it is, summer) and I'm a little bit scared of my kitchen right now.

I'm a tea girl, but I've been drinking more coffee recently because people having been giving it to me and I have no polite way of turning them down

I have a bit of milk and either 1 or 2 sugars, though I'll drink it with no sugar a well. With me it teands to go:
-Sugar
-Tea bag
-Hot Water
-let brew
-take tea bag out
-milk.

Though I wish people would stop giving me cold tea and coffee. The stuff is horrible and I have to drink it because they've given it to me. It's a crime against nature

I'm actually quite fond of canned coffee and ice/bottled tea.

I take it you don't like?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Well, the coffee can be tolerable, but there is something still very off about it and the fruit teas are also drinkable because they don't taste so much of tea (but I'm not keen on the after taste), but cold tea? Nope, I'll never be able to drink that.

I love tea aswell
I'm quite weird with how I have it though. I will liturally have the tea bag in there for like 5 seconds once the water is in so I don't have it very strong. I can have it with or without milk, and always with sugar.
If any one else made my tea I cant drink it xD
This is such a strange thread xD

Everyone has such different tastes for the same thing. I love the diversity :3

Weak tea? I'd boo you, but I wonder if you would like some of the white tea blends. They're incredibly subtle and delicate.

Sounds like something I will have to try.
