Basically towers showed at kita 2, was not the best idea, so people in the artist gallery made pictures off AL stuff, mainly towers related really, didn't know what they look like, cause i only heard after towers whined, and they were all took down, not really sure what happened exactly, but that was the gist of it, i laughed when i heard xD

It really is amazing when people can band together and do something like that just to get under his skin XD

Kitacon and Ayacon definitely have karaoke. And the parties at night time are pretty awesome, at least from my experience (Kita) and what I've heard (Aya). And you can't expect too much from games rooms - if you want to spend all your time playing video games, stay at home. Kita had a good variety of games and even though there was a massive amount of people there, I still got to go on the ones I wanted to.

I can't judge LAC since the only events and cons I've been to so far are Midlands Expo and Kitacon, even though I'm attending Aya this month too. But I would rather steer clear of AL events altogether. From what I've heard, it's not worth the money and effort. I know, I know, "find out for yourself" and all that but chances are if most people think it's crap, I'll think the same too. I'd rather not waste my money to have a bad time at a con.

LAC has famous guests and bands? Since when?

The only guests they get is people from Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged and bands no one has ever heard of before in they're lives.

He usually goes to London based cons and events (minus MCM Expo) and him and his band of cronies hand out advert leaflets to people outside about LAC.

He was at LFCC and somewhat involved with the cosplay masquerade on the Saturday. He had people handing out leaflets to people indoors and payment was a hotel room for the LFCC weekend. I know this as a friend was doing it for the free room LOL.

He was at Hyper Japan PERSONALLY handing out these leaflets. I didn't take one of course. My girlfriend looked at the leaflet and said "No Thanks." OMG his face was just... priceless! He looked like he was rejected by the girl he fancies and about to cry.

I'm pretty confident in saying that Towers is banned from most of the UK conventions. He is either banned or he has been met with SO MUCH vitriol when he attends them, that he just doesn't go anymore.

Apparently he was at Summer of Sonic, or at least he was planning to go. I don't think he actually did turn up though, since I didn't see anybody handing out AL leaflets and from what I know of Mike, he would have been there thrusting one into the hand of anybody in sight.

I'm gonna leave this open for now, only because the dude has a right to come back and argue his point more if he so wishes but please keep on target here and let's not go any further into an anti-MT thing.

The biggest problem with that is any conversation about his events will turn into one about him and his organisation. Their reputations have become interwined.
