For the costume I've made the top half and was sewing it to a circle skirt, but only have enough fabric for 3/4 of a circle skirt. Does anyone know of another way I could approach it and get the same affect. As it would cost me a £12.30 train ticket to get some more fabric.

Now this wouldn't have been to much of a problem if it wasn't for the fact the person I bought the fabric off could measure correctly. He mis-measured as when I remeasured I found it was 1/2m less then what I had asked for. Also if I had half a brain I should have asked for more then I needed, but I suppose I can learn a lesson from this for being to much of a cheapskate.

Depending on how much fabric you have, a circle skirt might look okay anyway even if half a metre is missing. Tack it together and see? __________________ Come and Join the UK Touhou Project Fans https://www.facebook.com/groups/205785246149536/ http://touhouuk.deviantart.com/ |

But your right it would be a 3/4 circle skirt instead, which might actually look better as there really isn't much gathering on the toy. Which confuses me a bit as its got a breeze blowing up into it. I've been looking at 3/4 circle skirts on google images and it doesn't look much different at all. I haven't made things this way before so I automatically presumed if I didn't do it the way I was originally told it wouldn't work. Thank you so much for your help |
