At the moment my wigs are constantly tangling up because I have no proper stands for them. So does anyone know where I can buy some polystyrene head stands?

Not sure about the head type ones but you can get some nice ones from Coscraft. They fold down so they're really easy for travel too.

Are there any hair and beauty shops near you (the sort that sell extensions and a small range of wigs)? It's actually worth popping in and asking nicely if they have any old heads going spare. If you're polite and lucky you can get them really cheap if not free.

As already mentioned Ebay are great for polystyrine wig heads, you may be able to find glass looking ones but they will probably be quite expensive!

Alternativly I actually find keeping wigs in the plastic bags they come in a lot better than on wig heads! They don't tangle at all and it saves on space. I only have 2 wigs on wig heads, one of which is one I have styled so thats why I keep it on one but all my others are just flat packed in bags =) I keep them like that when traveling to events as well then just take them out, give them a quick comb through and are good to go =)

I know someone mentioned it but im seconding www.coscraft.co.uk wig stands! they are fantastic! great value, great to travel with and just generally to have in your room! very versatile and generally a great bargain!
