On pages 16&17 of todays Metro news paper (the one you get free at train/tube stations). There is a nice article from Expo. There are interviews with people like Illapa and xaerael.

After all the Daily Star drama, it's good to see positive article about cosplay.

I read that this morning and I agree, it was good to see cosplayers potrayed in a good light.

Let's move past the Daily Star drama. There have been a few papers which have misquoted cosplayers and portrayed them badly.

Let's just be grateful that this was not one of them. Even better is that the Metro reaches a very large group of people. And if even a small fraction of them DIDN'T skip over this article, it will be interesting to see any reactions ^_^

Was so happy I happened to be picking up my boyfriend from the station today, I don't normally get the chance to read the metro, so glad I got the chance to see this Was a really positive article and it was nice to read the interviews!

The guard at the ticket gate seemed very confused about why I was so happily waving the paper at my boyfriend when he arrived.

As soon as I heard about the article through facebook I went straight to my local station to read it. All I can say is I'm glad xD Though that reminds me of the article they did on Miku Hatsune. That article was pretty good too.

I thought the article was really well written and it was nice to see them put Cosplay in positive spin especially after the recent press we've recieved!

It's really nice to see some positive press stories on Cosplay for a change ^-^ I like that they explained how much time, effort, thought and skill goes into it instead of just passing it off as simple fancy dress!
