So out of inyerest CI; are there any cosplayers in Corby or Kettering or neighbouring places? I'm starting to feel like the only one It would be nice to find a local group of likeminded people.

Hey, I live in Kettering I'm new to cosplaying and this site though, me and my sister both love it though, but like you there are also far too few cosplayers about.

It's a shame there doesn't even seem to be that many in Northamptonshire in general.

Im in Northampton I cosplay and have the same problem as you, i only know 3 cosplayers in northampton :/

I doubt most people here would even be able to comprehend the idea of cosplay.
But alas, it's their loss

I can guess, there are a few in town, but its hard to get round to speaking to a few of them, never get the chance.

Also most of places you would cosplay here are out of town anyway... wouldnt cosplay in the town for any reason

No, Cosplaying in the middle of Northampton Town Centre is kinda asking for trouble.
That being said, I probably wouldn't cosplay alone in any Town.

Yeah, well London is acceptable maybe, and some overs as long as your with others

agreed have wondered around northampton with Mizore on but she is relatively tame and it was fushicon and I wasn't alone x3

Yeah I also did walk around part of Northampton Town Center in cosplay on the saturday of Fushicon

got a picture taken with friends and a while later, the guy had given printed pictures of us to give to me and the people I was with XD

I went Fushi Con to hang out with friends (not to go in the actual con )

It's about an hour and a half on the train, though there's more to do in Sheffield it seems a bit strange to ask cosplayers from Northants to come this far up :3

I'd love to make use of the ruralness of the area, are there any large parks/fields well out of the way that people can get to? I'll be in the area in a couple of weeks.

There is but I can't remember the name of it now ^^; Ah bit further than I thought, I used to go to Manchester quite often which stopped by sheffield so thats where I must of got the idea it wasn't too far. There's some good forest areas around too.

Ahaa, I used to go to Manchester a lot for someone I used to see there. I know of about 3 large groups there.

In sheffield there's Sheffcos, and my little group. We are kinda part of a lesser known group but we'd rather not be associated with it, and no it's not AL ahahaha

Northampton has some nice places, how about country parks? We could do a picnic if the weather holds out.
