Chun-Li hair buns?!
I'm having trouble fitting the white hair bun covers over my own hair, I don't have the money to buy a wig and basically, my hair is too fine to make big enough buns, they just slide right off!

A friend had an idea that I use those round donut things that you use to help make a hair bun and just leave them in and put the hair covers over the top, do you think that would be good enough?

Thanks!

They'd probably work, yeah. I'm using one for Ursula since my hair's not long enough at the moment to make a decent-sized bun. They're quite big though, so it depends on how big you want your buns to be!

You could also try using bun nets - make your bun, stick the net over it and then jam as many hairpins in as you can. Or Claire's sells these twisty clippy things that are designed for making buns - they're like a rubber strip with a gap in the middle, you put the end of your ponytail through the gap and roll it up to your head, then fold the strip over and clip the ends together. They're fiddly as hell but could be worth a try. I have fine hair too but both of those options worked fairly well for me when I did Chun Li.

Yeah you are right about them being quite big - I did have this idea that maybe I could cut a bit of the bun ring off and then attach them back together via a sewing technique, to make it slightly smaller so that they're not so huge, think that'd work?
