Pez Joined: 22 Jul 2009 Posts: 795	Oooh, Steins;Gate! Actually that's more a sporty jacket style and those jackets are usually unlined. For a pattern you could take any simple jacket pattern, omit the collar and just hem where the collar is supposed to be. Not sure where you can find a free one, but if you find one I suggest making it around 2 sizes larger than your own size. To be honest, for sewing it's best to use books rather than online tutorials. I know both Chelmsford and Colchester libraries have rather good sewing books! ETA: I think it doesn't have a collar??? But because of her hair you never actually see that bit of the jacket... it could be that the collar is the same stripe as the cuffs actually. Last edited by Pez (15 Jun 2011 - 12:11)

Yeah I see what your saying about it being a sporty type of jacket,rather than a coat. Daxam Joined: 22 Mar 2011 Posts: 13	If you're planning on doing the lining, it's done by mostly making the pattern again with lining material, and sewing it so its stitch and fold are under the lining. I'd go with what Mr Pez above says about acquiring a patter book rather than a tutorial online. __________________ "We kill the lights, and put on a show."

I do often use tutorials or patterns found online. (or just make them up myself.
