Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm still relatively new to being a brolita, finding those perfect outfits.
I have a very unforgiving family who wont tolerate what they deem "unusual" clothes, let alone a guy in a dress!
So for now my dressing up is fairly closet, but hopefully I should be able to attend some events next year, and I hope to look good doing it, lol. (Well, I can hope )

As for the parent thing...my parents hated cosplay...until they saw some videos of me on stage and I brought home a PSP and a bunch of games I won from a contest. They were quite impressed after that.

My dad still doesn't get it, but he sees the effort that goes in and the skills I've learned through it and he respects that ^_^

Thank you! Lolita is truly awesome! My family have always thought I was 'weird', and I don't really have anything in common with them. The only problem I have is I was forced to move home when the recession caused all my hours to be cut. Once I get a better paying job again, i'll be out of there and free to do as I please.



Thank you for your kind greeting! My Dad is out of the picture (luckily), it's my mum and brothers. My mum is an Italian Catholic, so there is no way to reason with her, if I wear womens clothes, I go to hell apparently. My brothers are just idiots.
But as I said, once I can get my own place sorted again, i'm free again!

Sadly, when I moved home it all had to go but i've started replacing my loli clothes, so once I have a nice co-ordinate, i'll post some pictures up.
As for cosplay costumes, i'm new to it, so havent done any character ones yet, just lolita.
