I was just thinking, i had alot of trouble last year going to McDonalds for food between annoying everyone for pictures at Nemacon because it is ALWAYS full of chavs, expecially on weekends so i thought would anyone like to be part of a food group where at a set time we all meet up to go get food? This is mainly for the newbies or really vunerable people to be in a group so if chavs/people do take the piss then at least there will be other people with them or people to help defend them if things get rowdy.

So hopefully a group of at least 5 or so to go to mcdonalds or greggs etc and take them back to the green to eat. I figured it'd make the more nervous people, just like me, feel a big better about heading out convention area, especially as some kids might not be from Middlesbrough.

For Saturday, I've had a look and figured from 3-4 would be better as not many big events are going on. The events taking place at that point would be the Nemacon Pub Quiz, the Post lolita Fashion Show, speed drawing masterclass, digital manga masterclass and the Tea Ceremony with Akemi. So would people like to meet at the entrance of the Main Hall (Still in the town hall) at 3.00pm to go get food together?

For Sunday, best I can come up with is from 1.00pm til 2.00pm. The only events going on at that point are middle of Street Fighting with Chris, Crossplay Panel, Manga Masterclass and the Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament. If it's a problem for the Duelists I could go and get the food for them providing they give me the money. So Main Hall gain for that?

tl;dr: Saturday meet at Main Hall Entrance to go get food at 3.00pm to arrive back at the latest at 4.00pm. Can fit a photoshoot in between that.
Sunday meet at same place at 1.00pm to arrive back at the latest of 2.00pm. For the duelists I'll happily go out and buy the food if they give me the money. Can also fit photoshoot.

BUMP, think of the children!

I'm tempted by this, but I'm not sure if I'll be around at those times or whether I'll just go grab a sandwich when I can... I might come along if I'm stood around ^^

I'm only there Sunday and I'll probably be hitting a pub. Plus I'll be rolling with a brute covered in blood. Good luck and stay safe. I live there, I know the type of people that hang around.
