I know this is a bit 'in advance' but time does fly and this gives us opportunity to conjure up ideas in time to practice them XD

For those that don't know CLAMP no Kiseki compromised 12 cross-over manga volumes I think that were co-released with little chess pieces of the characters where black and white mokonas comprised the pawns.

After the success and enjoyment of the CLAMP in 3D LAND group we're calling up all you CLAMP lovers to help with our next project 8D

Yes there are some doubles, two white queens, two black kings and 4 bishops per side. Personally I'd have thought Clow Reed would make a better black king than either of X's men but hey, wasn't my call.

So to get a full board we'd need a minimum of 16 people. But that's if we wanted to push the chess team.

Full group of all twelve covers would mean 25 people.

Personally I think 16 people would be more than enough, there were 13 of us on stage in 3D LAND :o and we nearly broke the expo mentally

We have plenty of time to choose and read up! (I could do with learning more about Subaru too, haaaa) As much as I don't like the color scheme for the Sumeragis, I think I'd just have to cosplay Subaru if you did Hokuto. I cannot pass up this chance! D8

And yeah, dark Ashura. I reeeeally like little Ashura but it would look so wrong on my body shape, I've got hips, HIPS! ;A;
I'd only consider little Ashura if I had a Dark Ashura with me x'D

I really like both Ashura's designs too, I hope they get cosplayed. I hope this catches more people's interest first and foremost though! 8D

So far the preferance is Manchester or October but we'll see how we're fixed come to the new year.

I won't be able to come to May next year or the year after...caused too much trouble this year interupting my exam revision, and I'm just a first year who's grades don't count yet! I couldn't cope with an expo mid exams again ^^;

Naw it's not, I have exams in 3 weeks :/ So my vote is currently Manchester

I prefer May or October Expo because my money is tight at the moment and since I am familiar with the layout, settings and hotels in London I can plan ahead early. I know I can book train tickets for £15 to London in advance and in the worst scenerio that I cannot afford a hotel, then I can always easily travel to London for a day.

If the group is for Manchester, then I'm unsure if I'm able to attend because I will most likely need a hotel and hardly any of my friends are interested to attend Manchester, so it will mean I have to dig out more money for a room by myself. Just wondering if the group is set in stone for Manchester, will there be anyone willing to split a room with me as I am more likely to attend if I can make my arrangements as cheap as possible.

I was thinking this, as several people have said accomodation cost is the issue...as far as I'm aware hotels in Manchester aren't as expensive as London...(I've never stayed so I'm not sure, but everything else is so much cheaper...eg. food prices in London kill me >< )

I'd have to let people know nearer the event, depending on my accomodation situation at the time (being a student, I have no idea where I will be living in July next year! =D), but I'd be willing to help people out if I can (for free, of course =) )

was really impressed with your 3D land group, really looked good! i really wanted to join in, but sadly, by the time i knew about it, id already sorted all cosplays out for the event.

however, after careful nagging from someone who shall go nameless, i would rather like to join this group

having looked through the artwork, it all looks so good, but the one that strikes my interest the most, is Subaru, the white bishop! if this is ok, then please may i join?

i can do either may or manchester, but i cant say for sure whether ill be going to october 2012, as i may be at uni doing a post-grad...

Have added everyone that has expressed interest so far, these aren't legally binding contracts by any means, everything is very flexbile given how much time we have.



We're doing a photoshoot in April next year if you'd like to join us with a 3D LAND costume. 8D The bigger group the better.

as long as i know the date by the end of the year, then ill be able to book the day for the photoshoot off work when we get the callendar down, before anyone else nabbs the date. im up for it anyway

edit: i didnt see the 3D land bit. id still love to join in, though i dont know who id best be XD

This idea amuses me I can just see someone whipping out a CI print off at a con, yelling that someone's wearing the wrong costume because last year they planned this, and not that...
