Hi my name is Raygen(<-- Me nick name). I'm 15 years old and living in London Uk.But I was born in Germany so I'm German (A kind of ).I was coming to the uk last summer so I'm nearly one year in it. (My English skills are not so good,but ok).I never playd cost play befor.I don't have any cost plays silks like to make a own customs or ever platy cost play, so I wont to tryst out because I'm a big fan of Mangas and amines. So I hope I gone learn her form the community how cosplay works, and find new friends to cosplay or just to play some games or somthing like this.

And I looking ale so for a cosplay group (in london) or a partner who can helpe me when I need helpe with a custume or have questons and stuff like this.

hi welcome to cosplay island - im sure you will have fun - there are many cosplay events in the uk such as expos where you can play games ect and meet up with other cosplayers - you can pretty much cosplay any character - i would advise you to start with simple character ie l from death note if you are worried about ur skills - also if you want to join a group look out in the forums they have many groups so just take a fancy - hugs

Hi there new comer welcome to CI ^^ hopefully you'll enjoy the company/crowd here as there are quite a few lovely nice cosplayer I've been her for a small while now and love it :3 here are loads of cons held in the close london area to get you started, like MCM expo, which just ended a week ago and coming soon is the London Film Comic Con and also Hyper Japan , as for cosplaying characters, I'd say start off with something simple if you'd like, or daring if you got the skills, and for knowledge I say just do lots of research and asking around for advice.

Hi there welcome. I too am pretty new to cosplay. The best thing to do is choose something you know well and is easy to make. I haven't been on CI for long but have enjoyed it very much. Many people are happy to help if your finding it hard to start with.
I am just starting to create my 3rd costume. It is woth it once it's done you feel great about it We will all help where we can
Enjoy it here have a good time and also look at other peoples costumes for ideas to help with yours

As other people have suggested, maybe start with an easy character. My first was Ash Ketchum from Pokemon.
