PARADE- As there are so many of us an i recon the stage can handle 10ish we shall split into 2 groups which means everyone get on stage so make yourselves known i will need definates after xmas as i will send off for a place for us . This will either be friends (feel more comfortable), chronological order of series, or relationships. (friends, foes)

Ooh, I've wanted to do Sophitia for a while (possibly her Soul Calibur 3 outfit...love that one). Don't know if I'll have the time or money to work on her for Kita4 but I can try; would be awesome to get some pics with other Soul Blade/Calibur cosplayers.

And I've applied for a job at a Hilton, which I probably won't get, but if I do I get really cheap rates.

hmm different outfits are ok i spos but still doubles blehh espec if your making it a masquerade group im not trying to sound bitchy but ye what was the point of naked saying ied like to be ivy ages ago and "reserving" that spot to end up with a double in the same group even if its a diffrent outfit ...its still the same person :/

i know ied be slightly peved off and let down if that happened and i know shes probs ok with it kinda but deep down i know how ied feel if this happened ied go with it to keep ppl happy but ied be upset.. not trying to upset anyone ..just defending what nakedsalad says :/

nakedsalad i deff dont want to push you out your the reason its actually going to turn into a group. hmm thing is if someone wants to do a character the same then its a no but a different veraint is not so bad, there might be loads of same characters walking around hilton when we go.

you gotta think of it like the game in the game in arcade mode there is the point where you have to fight yourself see it from that point and its cool

Though, all her outfits that show a lot of flesh all look incredibly similar.

Her blue, black and red ones, the more clothed outfits are very different however.

And yeah, of course loads of people end up cosplaying the same thing but if you're properly organizing a group then it'd be a tad silly to organize two of the same character wearing very similar outfits.

I don't want to be dubbed the 'bad Ivy' or anything, during Kita, when I'm meant to be having fun.

WTF?! I'm not trying to push anyone out of the group at all. I've wanted to do Ivy for AGES, and it just happens to be that there was a SC group going.

As it stands, I'm not doing her purple outfit, or an outfit that shows too much flesh at all, cause I loathe that. I'm doing her navy outfit.

I'm actually more that a little pissed off that, frankly, I feel that Kairu is trying to push me out. There are loads of duplicate cosplays going around, I'm not entering the Masquerade ANYWAY and I don't actually see what the damn problem is.

EDIT: What's even more annoying is that fact that nakedsalad has said "if it's a different costume then okay" and Kairu keeps going on about doubles. The fact is, you can fight yourself in Soul Calibur, so it would make for some cool shots.

ttly not trying to push anyone out thing is i know how awkward doubles can be there's always the chance your going to be judged on the person thats your double despite the fact the costume is different

and as for what naked says i know her and im sure shes just been nice in saying shes ok with it when shes really slightly concerned and things as me J and naked have had our 3 characters planned for a while but like i say i aint trying to push you out just defending a friends feelings cos shes too nice to voice them herself but w.e ^_^

I'm concerned about that too, I usually steer clear of doing doubles myself. The only reason I've not this time is because I don't really like any of the other characters, and I've been planning that version of Ivy for awhile. Just cause I've not informed anyone of it before doesn't mean I haven't.

TBH, the two costumes, in this case, are really quite different. If I had picked the same outfit, then deffo I would be like "oh, someone's doing that version, I won't then" Also, Ivy's first outfit it was people think straight away when they think of her (at least, I do), so if anything, she'll be seen as the "proper ivy".

And, looking at the cosplays nakedsalad has done, I don't think she has anything to worry about in the whole "bad ivy" thing.

I also think that, in this case, the costumes are too different to be compared. The purple outfit is almost completely exposed, is sorta dangerous looking and... Can't think of the word... The navy version is a uniform, fully covered and... I dunno lol, the opposite to the word I can't think of. To be short, aside from the weapon and hair, they look like they'd be two completely different characters.

You know what, I'll change to Xianghua. I've just re-played it - mainly to see if there is another character I like just to stop the whole issue of two Ivys - and had totally forgotten about her (which is odd, cause she's my second most played character!)

But only if I lose weight! And have enough confidence...
