What kind of group do you mean, exactly? Do you mean like an inetrnet forum (Like this one) for UK people? Or a 10:00 every saturday met up for discussion, tips and possibly a few drinks?

Because sadly Newcastle's a BIT of a trek for me. Happy to chat to you on here, though.

I believe there's already a group of cosplayers who meet in Newcastle. To my knowledge they meet about once a month and go around town in their costumes. I think this is their page: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=292328026786&v=info

It's more for younger people, though unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a regular group or meet for cosplayers who're 18+ or don't really want to romp around the city centre in costume.

I'd say join up with that if it's what you're after or try to organise a meet yourself?

Yeah there is a general/cosplay meet up around here on every so often but I do think a more organised cosplay meet would benefit more people. For older people more so. I've gave up on the wondering around town ones as Id prefer more stuff to be going on. But I know it's hard to find things to do or a hall/room to have.

It would be great if we and more people like the people from the meets could come together and figure something out for a little con thing at a hall or something. I don't know too much about doing anything like that at the moment though, what do you guys think?

Hi, I'd be interested too ^^ I've frequently gone to the other cosplay meet in Newcastle however there are only a few older people who like to go frequently.

It would be good to have a new cosplay group (in newcastle?) to go to. The other meets have kinda just fragmented and yes its full of underage people so having a more mature group to spend time with will be nice. Also having more and new people that seem to be more willing to cosplay around the area will definatly spur me on to do it more

I would be interested in joining a more mature cosplay group 18+ ideally

would be up for meeting older people but not sure if I would want to be in cosplay
