As much as I'd love the idea of having a go at the Big Brother scouts, I think what we should do if approached is simply just say no thanks, and walk off. Big Brother is all about causing a storm, and by going off on one at them you are fuelling the idea in their heads that Expo-ers have the 'explosive personalities' that they are after for the show. If we all just ignore them, they will realise that we don't care and will hopefully not bother us ever again, fingers crossed.

Totally agree with you, they're expecting us to make a huge thing about it, so we should do the unexpected!

As nonchalantly as you can, introduce them to socially awkward penguin they'll soon go away xD

The annoying thing is, I can see a lot of people will over react for them(Wherever to wind them up or not) and they're really just going to love it. This is Big Brother of course.

I'd really just prefer if anyone they went up would discuss there 'favourite' Victorian literture, and how how a structure to a story is more important than the story and... You can see where this gets boring for them.

On the bright side, a lot of the 'tards will be underage to actually go on the show. They'll probably get a mountain of weeabootastic TV footage though D:

Hmm. Jae you've a point there. Still, I think we are in total agreement that this will make us all look bad. This whole thing enduces a massive amount of rage in me. It's worse than the Song Marry Avoid thing (oh wait, same production company...)

I really don't like the fact that they have to scout like this. At least with the auditions I could just not go.

Well guys, if they approach you tell them to bite your shiney metal ass. Or break the camera whichever's good

Expo calls itself London's Comic Con,

Not to derail, but I thought the London Super Comic Convention was London's comic con. There's a clue in the name

And oh gods! Look, BB is using our rage at BB's coverage to get coverage! I think my brain might explode in a feedback loop *dies*

I just love the fact that there is no-one here who really likes big brother and has not a care for it, and yet they have the guts to come post here, its funny xDDD but yeah, i'd really tell them where to shove it, cause big brother is just for those who wants fame and money which isn't a big deal at all

Only if you post up a pic of you in cosplay. That's how it works with us.

Pictures of us in cosplay are traded like currency.

Good gravy this one is fun!

I don't know. Do you have a favourite character you've wanted to be for a day?

Derailing slightly in response-sorry!
Check out the main banners on the expo site, it's always said that. Plus I was talking to a friend who isn't "on the scene" and he'd heard about the comic con this weekend at excel and hadn't realised that it was expo that I was always waffling about

To be fair, whenever 'Comic Con' is mentioned in regards to a UK event, I think of London Film and Comic Con. And from what I've heard/seen from a friend who attends New York Comic Con every year, LFCC sounds a lot more like its US counterpart than Expo. Expo sounds more like something along the lines of Anime Expo.

Too easy, every man and his dog wants to be cloud.

But its a good place to start, however we don't just cosplay japanese media.

I have to go offline now for the next few days, my weekend starts now. It's been pleasant to meet you, BB Admin.

See you all at the expo, and look out for an Agni from Kuroshitsuji if you wanna say hi ;D
