i know this sound stupid but i was just wandering how do you set a avatars on CI? i really am interested in finding this out

If you click PROFILE at the very top right and then click "edit profile" underneath the FORUM button. Click "Account settings" which is in about the middle of the screen. The upload profile picture bit is in the "Picture" section.

grrr.. Ive been trying to change my avatar for the forums, and its not working. I've already tried checking the box to delete the image before I submit a new one.
what should I do???

It has changed, hit F5 or refresh the page, your browser probably has the old image cached.
