Well basically, it's just gone 2am and, once again, I am still slaving away painting, glueing and what not. My problem is I always get distracted during the afternoon, and well, I'm not quite a morning person so doing work then is out of the question!
So I was just wondering, am I the only one who ends up making all my costumes so late at night? Are there any more night owls or are you all early birds when it comes to being creative? (I apologize if this has been asked before, I'm not so good at this thread-making malarky, plus it's rather late after all!)

Yes I work best at night! Although, I usually wait till everyone well almost everyone in my house is asleep and out of the way. Then I work on my cosplay till like 4 or 5 in the morning. Or sometimes I do it as soon as wake up like in the afternoon but it depends on what I'm working on really xD

TBH I don't really work to a set time, naturally or planned. I get itchy thumbs during the day and start thinking about what to work on and then I just go with it. Granted cause me sewing machine sounds like a friggin Tommy Gun I can't really machine sew into the wee hours of the night. But when it comes to cutting, beading, tweeking me wigs ect I can work at pretty much any hours as long as the mood takes me and i have the materials at hand.

Same as GoldieNeko, I'll work anytime of the day XDD well to an extent. I'll get up early to do stuff, I work the best late morning early afternoon. If I've been working all day and it comes to night I have to stop even if I want to carry on, because when I get tired I get cranky and botch up stitches and other things then >_<

Perferrabley at noon - I feel like I can dedicate the day to it. Most of the time I have to work on my costumes in the evenings because I work full time and I have many other responsibilities. Unfortunately cosplay comes last :/

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who stays up all night working! I always find it is nice and quiet late at night, so I can concentrate better! Plus there's no one on Facebook to distract me either! XD

I work best during the day, definitely. Unfortunately I always get most inspired late in the evening, but if I'm tired I tend to mess things up and get upset. And I'm living with other people all year so running the machine during the night is a big no XD

I am half owl, so I am most productive at night! However, my sewing machine has a habit of keeping people awake when I deceide to do some sewing at 1 in the morning! XD

Usually the week before the event I'm debuting it at when I suddenly realise I have three days and half a cosplay left to go.

Mid noon when I am casually working on costumes as im very picky with lighting conditions but it can extend till about 10-midnight when cons near.
Any later I wont last long >< my health is too important for cons.
My sewing machine is right outside everyones bedrooms so its usually best to stay away from the machine late, but now I have a modern one I can bring it downstairs if im desperate

Sometime around 9pm-midnight. It's when I'm most active.
I do sod all during the day!
I don't normally go beyond midnight because that's when my parents come home from work and I don't like people watching me work.
In fact, I do all my work (revision, coursework, etc) around this time and lately cosplay has obviously taken a backseat due to exam season sooooo I'm getting no cosplays done atm .____.

At Night. I work best at night. Even when I'm half asleep and it looks like I'm about to fall asleep on top of what I'm working on. xD

I usually work on cosplay at around 8pm - 10pm, seeing as I have exams and other things to prioritise at the moment rather than cosplay.

Days I'm not working, and early evenings otherwise. I get tired and irritable with crafting if it gets late (and I'd rather be writing than making cosplays in the hour or so before I go to sleep).
(I sometimes feel like one of the few people I know who would rather be asleep by midnight if possible. It's not like I'm a morning person, but I have normal office working hours and I need lots of sleep!)

Whenever I have a free moment...
I work 11 hours a day then go home and do three hours more work most days so...not much time other than weekends TBH!

It depends on when I feel most at peace, really. I can't costume-make properly when I'm feeling tense or bothered.
I'd say usually in the afternoon, between lunch and dinner, and after I'm back from an early work shift
