I used to buy my wigs from an ebay shop called professionalonly and they'd been good. It looks like they've stopped selling on eBay, but they still have their own online shop here: http://www.edstrade.com/ I haven't shopped with them for 2 years already though so I don't know what they're like now.

It's not only eBay that sells wigs. My online shop, which also sells wigs, is at http://www.coscraft.co.uk - which is where I get my own wigs from these days, of course. XD

Actually with Yui wig, since it's not a special "anime" colour or style you could also try afrocaribbean wig shops/salons.

Also, check out the shop sections of Cosplay Island! http://www.cosplayisland.co.uk/shops

I use a fair few suppliers on ebay, sometimes though I find a wig thats from a seller I've never used but more often than not It's always been pleasing. Some of the ones I use are:

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/COSPLAY-WIG?_rdc=1

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Jennys-HairSense-The-Wig-Company?_rdc=1

Jenny's hair sense is rather expensive though, but the wigs she does are really really nice.

http://www.uptrending.co.uk/

Not ebay, but they do sell on ebay too. They are a UK based seller, so faster shipping. The wig I have from them is really one of the best wigs I've ever had.

Sometimes, what I'll do if direct searches for the wig I want isn't going well is just search "cosplay wig" or "costume wig"
Look through the listings until you see a wig, any wig, any colour that looks pretty good, then see if they have a shop and if so, if they have what you need.

One thing to always bear in mind though:

It's better to buy one thats longer (not massive long but just longer) than you think the style should be.

The display heads they use are tiny, they aren't the size of human heads so you may find that the wig is actually closer to the length you intended than it looked. And if not, you can trim it. Doing that with the wig on your head is best, just trim it up to where you want on both sides in the mirror, then take it off and cut it on a wig head. I tend to give it about half a centimetre extra given the change it will take when you stick it back on your head.

Feathering it is good too, takes that "box cut" look away.

I've always had a good experience with Cosplaywig. The colours are gorgeous and they tend to use good fibres too, my Kairi wig never knots even if it's really windy.

I've bought a couple of good wigs from the cosplay.com store also.

This, i never pay attention to.
Because i'm awful at cutting wigs.
But i'm thinking that the longer the better right?
Because that's just great! (happy great! not sarcastic great XD)
Seriously, this helped a lot!
Thanks!

I saw this wig, and thought it'd be good to cut into what i want.

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Wonderland-Wigs they have quite good quality wigs, and they're based in the UK so faster shipping ( and I think its free in Uk too) I bought my first wig there, there's not a massive range of them, though its possible to find something decent ...
Sometimes you could just browse ebay by typing in the colour+wig and length and you could come up with good results

I've already recmmended this in another thread but I'll recommend it again here.

This wig store is my favourite - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Wig-Fashion
I always buy from them when I can! Their quality, prices and service are the best. The wigs always look exactly like the photos and you get a free wig cap

I bought my Sealand, Luke Triton and Gumi Megpoid wigs from them if you'd like to see the quality in my gallery.

http://cosplaywigsusa.com/ is a decent site, none too expensive and pretty decent quality. (The lolita wigs are at least, can't vouch for the cosplay side just yet)

Wig-Fashion and Wigglamour - its the same seller. I buy all my wigs from them, never had any problems. Really helpful as well

I usually get my wigs from

Cosplay Wig Glamour - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/id=731342146&ssPageName=STRK:MEFSX:SST

or

Wig Fashion -
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/id=745683433&ssPageName=STRK:MEFSX:SST

I've never had a problem with them, they are however only basic wigs, so you would need to style them.

I've also had one from Wonderland Wigs
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/id=58534150&ssPageName=STRK:MEFSX:SST
They also have a website~

This one here has some lovely wigs, or so they are in the photo's give me 15-20 days and I can tell you how they are as I've JUST bought one but they have some great prestyled ones.

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Ayanamisatoru-cosplay-wig/Panty-Stocking-/_i.html?_fsub=2107441017&_sid=896851727&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322

Some others that are pretty good too -

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/kucos?_rdc=1 - have bought from, bought a custom colour as well, its a lovely wig, really soft and washes well too. (I got my Miku base there)

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/id=1013991442&ssPageName=STRK:MEFSX:SST
- not bought from but have some nice ones

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/CosplayAnimeWigs-Wigs-for-Cosplay?_rdc=1 - bought from once, Nice wig, just as they said.

Hope that helps!

I use quite a few, generally when I buy something from ebay and it's win, I save the seller to use again

UK sellers are always good because it ships faster so if you're having a bit of an emergency it's great!
CosCraft - have punky wigs from Cosworx (no customs charge YAY) and lots of other high quality great value standard wigs
Annabelles Wigs (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Annabelles-Wigs?_rdc=1) another UK seller, better for more natural hair colours but they're good quality wiggies

Cosplay DNA (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/CosplayDNA-Wigs-for-Cosplay?_rdc=1) Have always provided good wigs, they have a sister site which is called Epic Cosplay, based in the U.S which generally tend to ship wigs a little faster, and so far, I haven't incurred any customs charges with them. Their wigs are usually dyeable, and styleable and come in lots of pretty colours

CosplayWig (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/COSPLAY-WIG?_rdc=1) I love this place <3 they have some gorgeous colours I can never find anywhere else, GREAT for the perfectionist XD Great quality stuff too ^^

Ayanamisatoru Wigs (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Ayanamisatoru-cosplay-wig?_rdc=1) LOVELY WIGGIES!! not many styles but lots of colours, these are really nice for styling as they're quite thick at the base!! Good for spikey hair

Fantasy Sheep (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/FANTASY-SHEEP-COSWIG-LAND?_rdc=1) Really nice wigs in good styles although the shipping prices have gobne up ridiculously recently for some reason :s (£18 to ship some gloves or a hair bun?! wtf!) but when they have free or low shipping it's worth it ^^

Cosplay Wig Glamour (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/COSPLAY-WIG-GLAMOUR?_rdc=1) Similar to the fashion one mentioned previously I think, lots of wigs, good quality, my Rena lanford wig was got from here and was something mad like £13? Still looks lovely and happy even though it's been used alot ^^ Great on a budget

I guess that's my list XD I have other sellers for wefts and stuff but that's quite easy to find on ebay :3 I'm not using Cosworx again because they take SO long to ship (2 months, then the parcel got lost and then had to wait another month for them to send another and got charged £25 to get the parcel from customs ¬¬) not a pleasent experience, It's not worth the hassle. Previously you couldnt get the punky wigs here but as Pez sells them now I never need CosWorx again <3 PEZ WINS >

As already mentioned I strongly recommend COSPLAY WIG on eBay =) Ive bought around 6 wigs from them and never had any problems. Their wigs are of great quality and prices are good too for what you get =)

Wig Fashion are also good, ive only had 2 wigs from them but again didn't have any problems and great communtication too.

Both those sellers also offer express shipping, for around an extra £12 you can get it in around 5-7 days.

I'm also going to be purchasing a wig from WonderLandWigs sometime this week =)

Generally speaking though when it comes to buying anything from eBay always make sure to check the sellers feedback, it will normally give you a clear indication on if they are to be trusted =) Hope this helps!

Hey there,
I was wondering if any of you guys can recommend an Ebay seller for long good-quality wigs.
Cosplay-wigs doesn't seem to sell pumpkin orange ones :S
So anyone has an advice ?

Have you actually looked at all the links that have already been posted?

I'm pretty sure most of them would have what you are looking for, if not can help you expand your search by showing you a wig in the same colour but shorter, which will then give you the idea of searching for "long (that colour) wig"

It's how alot of my searches go for specific coloured wigs that can often be called several different colours.

same goes for this one:

I'd go with wig glamour over cosplaydna.

ALOT of the time with wigs, the cheaper it is, the worse quality it is. That doesn't apply to the 2nd hand market though.

So basicly, if it's more expensive, it's for a good reason. Usually it's a better quality.

The problem with alot of ebay sellers is that they use the suppliers photos (most sellers dont make the wigs, they are simply a middle man for a supplier) suppliers will usually touch up photos so sometimes a wig can look silky, smooth and not shiny, then it arrives and it looks like those horrible smiffy tinsel wigs (like wearing a christmas tree on your head)

ANYWAY!

I know people who have ordered from cosplaydna, most of them are mixed reviews, ranging from "the wigs are very thin, sometimes shiny and often plasticy looking" to "the wig I got was amazing!"

Iv'e used wig glamour in the past though and from MY experience, Iv'e not been dissapointed. Most of their wigs are wefted pretty well, are generally nice full thick wigs with minimal shine.

The wig glamour one LOOKS alot nicer, fuller and thicker from what I can see anyway.

Also, this might help:

http://kingdom-arts.org/arda-wigs.html

A website I recently discovered which alot of people use. Apparently their wigs are fantastic, Iv'e yet to use them but they also stock lace fronted wigs in LOTS OF AWESOME COLOURS! which is great because Iv'e only ever found lace fronted wigs in natural hair colours.

okay thx
will follow your advice !

please forgive my bad spelling. lol
I find that regular ebay has more wig choices, plus most people sell worldwide anyway.

just "ebay.com"
also, cosplaywig is good. however they have problems mixing wigs up. I bought a (supose to be) spikey white wig. and clearly spikey at that. but when it arrived, it was flat, and long but the right color. It wasnt even layered. -____- looked nothing like the picture, but it was white. lol

I do like these sellers though

http://stores.ebay.com/COSPLAY-WIG-GLAMOUR?_trksid=p4340.l2563

http://stores.ebay.com/ChinaJoy-Cosplay-Wig?_trksid=p4340.l2563
