Hi! I hate intros but i'm sooo tired of lurking! Newbie all around! Lurked for ages but never made a costume. I'm in desperate need of some cosplay friends. I don't know a single person who enjoys the hobby and very few that even know what I'm talking about!

I've had a hard time picking costumes, mostly because I have no idea what I'm doing and end up distracted. lol I feel like I'm stuck in traffic and keep missing my turns!

So, anway, now that the awkward/creepy pleading is over I guess I should get to the awkward informative bit...

I'm 25 and living near Bury St. Edmunds. I have some sewing skill but a really hard time envisioning finished products. I don't know what else to put... I'm actually American, but transplanted here almost a year ago and I'm... pretty much down for whatever!

if you want cosplay friends your in the right place, it seems im the first to reply so let me be the first to welcome you. i don't normally welcome people but your thread name caught my eye. i read your intro and i did the same sort of thing, took me a few years to attempt cosplay even though i lurked around. ^__^ anyway welcome to cosplay island i'm sure you'll make loads of friends and i'd like to be the first of many if i can time for some ominous dots . . . . .
