i dont know if there is a thread for this but what hotels are people saying at this year

im at the ibis opposite the excel

I think hotels have been a bit of a problem right now, especially for may. As alot of places have either already had alot of room booked up, or have ramped up their prices (Something to do with a Medical convention going on there)

Im looking at staying at one of the hotels just a few stops from the excel. Theres an ibis on the DLR line that im looking at right now.

for the friday night i'm staying in a hotel 1 stop away and then saturday we are moving to the custom house until monday, it worked out far cheaper that way and then we going have the hassle of going backwards and forward friday.

Staying at Travelodge

It's a stop or so away on the DLR, but it's also the cheapest hotel I have ever stayed in, so I can't complain XD

Docklands travelodge (or some people call it east india travelodge)

booked a week after the october expo xD (i'm either overly prepared or slightly frantic?) But to be honest i like being a few stops away on the DLR commuters faces are pricless literally had someone on the other side of the platform hide from me....

If anyone else is at docklands, come join us in our room for a mini (slightly quiet so we're not kicked out) party with cake and ice-cream from the ben and jerrys icecream vendor downstairs (i love that vendor)

Has anyone else already booked for october? I have -.- and it's custom house no matter how much i love docklands you can't beat having the excel right outside your hotel.

I will try and find you! I've managed to find a load of people at TL too, but we'll be drinking on the Plaza most of the evening (classy like that) >_>;;

Staying in Etap, dont want to but have no choice. Good thing is I have a bunch of friends and a photographer staying in the same hotel so its all good.

Havent booked for october yet (Looking at finding people to stay with) But ive been seeing some pretty good deals at hotels like the Ramada and Novotel for groups between 3-5, depending on the hotel. (Suite hotel rooms infact!)

Been weighing it up, and with enough people, I could get some top-quality rooms for 3-nights at around £100 per person.
