This is my first Kita as well and im very muchly looking foward to it! here is my list
Friday:- Altair with hidden blade *AC1*
Saturday:- Military Steam-punk Officer
Sunday:- Obi Wan, Kenobi Jedi Knight
Ball:- Steam-punk Gentleman
Please make sure you come to the cosplay workshop or Ops to get your hidden blade, other weapons and props checked by us.
We can't allow anyone with Altair or Ezio's hidden blade, or blades that are stiff, made from plastic, sharp, hard, that can basicly damage someone if you.....shot? it at someone? what IS the action called anyway?
Not that I'm sugestion you'd run around the con doing it, just that we still need to check it because thats just what we have to do every convention ^_^
Also, if it goes back into the vambrace with very little pressure, so say, you got it out, then pressed it against your hand, it leaves no painfull looking marks or damage and slides back into the vambrace easily, That'd be the best.
I hate coming into threads like this and going "ohhhhh sorry, awesome costumes and all, but you need to remember to come and let us check your stuffs"
Don't want to spoil your fun!
EDIT: Ya know what would be usefull for me to include in the post? A link to Kitas cosplay rules and guidelines.....yeah, that'd be real usefull Lulu you idiot:
Just in case ^_^
No worries that's fine, Iv been to quite a few other cons before, no harm done what so ever, I'll still come to the desk to have them checked by you, but the :-
LightSaber is a metal handle with a plastic tube with green light inside, I don't intend on whacking it on anyone or on anything because it was very expensive and that's just stupid
The Hidden blade is used by gravity, no springs or gas release mechinisum, it comes out with the flick of the wrist and goes back in when you lift your arm up, also there is not blade attached, its a blunt piece of wood painted silver to look like a blade, if I did hit some one with it by accident then it would go straight back into the metal runner on the underneath of my arm
My steam punk gun is a model with no moving parts, so that should be no issue at all its completely useless and only for show.
