I'll be working as usual, but I am hoping to do Elika from the new Prince of Persia. It will complement my stand and her outfit is very pretty.

I can't wait to see all the great costumes this October. Every Expo they just get better and better!

I'm organising a nice big group for Expo and I'm wondering if anyone would mind taking part?

A number of you may have heard about or even seen, nay, even cosplayed as Pokemon Gijinka!

So I'm wondering - how many Pokemon Gijinka can we get together on the Saturday of Expo?!


I myself should be doing Glameow, and bringing the rest of team Foam with me, but it'd be awesome if, for a pretty simple costume, people would like to join in!

Im so excited about the Expo, its going to be my first one, and hoping it will ease some of the PCD i got after Amecon

I've only got the two costumes at the moment, and not enough time/money to make a new one in time, so I'll be there for both days I think as either Jiraiya or Zelda as usual ^_^

im going to try my hardest to get mt maximillion galactica cosplay sorted in time as i couldnt get ti finshed in time for amecon so missed the group photoshoot

Well I WAS just going to edit my original post cause I couldn't be bothered to post another reply on this thread, but since I am already I'll just say it here!
Gonna change my cosplay plans once again because... I used up the material for Hamlet to use my Hao cloak :'( so no Hamlet, d'oh!
Instead I shall be cosplaying as Miki from Shugo Chara on Saturday [with special-pleb and shigures high school girl as Suu and Ran respectively, yay!]
Sunday depending if I the money I shall still be doing Sakura from Tsubasa [Halloween artbook design, *prays I can afford 5 more metres of fabric!!!]
Then Sunday afternoon I'll get changed into Steiner, from FFIX, once I'm done shopping around in the dealers room, yay!!

im hoping to go both day to the expo as well as the masquerad, if it comes off . im hoping to get together lighning from ff13...once i fine the materials, wear my old kaede from shuffle! for the masquerade and for fun go as a giant pocky box for sunday!!!! im gonna do the pocky dance and everything

yeah I have never been to an expo or anything and was wondering about that masquerade thing is it you gotta buy a separate ticket to go watch or is it included in the tickets you buy for the weekend?

For the masquerade at Expo you have to go to the Cosplay Desk (usually near where the masquerade is held) to get a little ticket for the masquerade. I recommend getting there asap because those tickets run out fast! You don't have to pay for them, but you have to ask for them *nodnod*

Like I said: GET THERE ASAP OTHERWISE THE TICKETS WILL RUN OUT! Also, I recommend taking something to occupy yourselves with, as it is usually quite a long wait in line for everyone to be seated etc. ^^;

But either way, its a lot of fun! I do recommend it, the costumes and skits can be very awesome, so do try and go!

I might only be coming with the two costumes. My money is so tight at the mo so I'll have to delay Lord Illpalazzo until next year. Not even too sure if I can make the ball at this point.

yeah this Ball is it something you need to get a separate ticket for like the masquerade?

Hehe getting the masquerade tickets IS the first thing we do when we get to expo ;P Especially on Saturday!! Sunday it is much easier to get tickets as it's less busy but Saturday your just gonna have to zoom straight in, go on a hunt for the cosplay desk and queue up to ask for a ticket ;P

And your right, there IS a cosplay ball. Not much info on it yet though so your probably gonna have to keep an eye on the MCM site/forums
