Cosplay summit takes place in Nagoya Japan this Aug 2-3. There are package deal for the summit and also for a visit to Tokyo including accommodation. I guess what is included is not only the special seats at the summit but also cosplay school and tour of Akihabara in Tokyo.

The price is not that bad considering it`s 7 day trip including bullet train tickets from and to Tokyo - Nagoya.

I would love to but way too short a notice for me to save up for it. Will it be happening again next year?

I think the cosplay summit (parade and championship) should be happening again next year.
I hoped they had one similar in Tokyo. If you have any information about similar thing, please let me know! Love to participate.

World cosplay summit is something we (UK and Holland) don't have YET! but Tv Aichi is interested in more participants!

I''m mostly interested in the cosplay school, but even so, I think it's expensive. So no go for me this year OR next year! ^_^;

I had a look at that site! Looks like an absolute adventure! But does anyone know if that price is just for the summit and you'd still have to get yourself over there in the first place?

As far as I understand it, you still need to get yourself there, the price is for, hotels, breakfast, cosplay school, a day at akihabara, and seats for the summit...
